They don't necessarily agree, because they want me to marry a nice Korean boy- but it's the 21st century and we're in the US.
They understand. I'm also a different generation, born and raised here.

I really dislike how people prefer certain types or races.
I wish that everyone would be more open minded and just go for what they're attracted to.
I think that you can be attracted to anyone- not just what you're "supposed" to be with.

I think they dishonesty comes from if you're changing to londe just so you can fit the "Blondes are more fun" rumor.

Asians who dye their hair blonde look trashy and an Asian brunette doesn't even sound right.

I'd go with Brunette though.
No one likes dark roots, it's hard to take care of, and it kills your hair.
