Thank you for the reiki and prayers! Thank you to everyone of you that posted encouraging words to me during one of the worst months of my life. My stepson is fully awake, out of ICU and moved to rehab. I am recovering very quickly from my stroke and already my speech is returning to normal. This will be my last post on the subject because this is OVER! |

Good news!!!!

So it's definitely time for some good news!
First of all, my stepson has been downgraded out of the ICU and into the next level of care. I don't know what you call it but it's less intensive. He is awake and starting to respond to commands with hand gestures. Second, I do NOT have Dystonia!!! I had a small stroke. This is actually good news! My muscle spasms are completely gone. I still have speech and swallowing difficulties, coordination problems and muscle weakness but it beats the hell out of Dystonia anyday! Thank you all for your prayers. They worked!

Seems most of them do. Then again I'm not a big fan of doctors in general. |
