oh boy.. so basically it's no gifts since its the first date... plenty of time later 'if you hit it off' 'hope for a second date'???? How about getting the girl some flowers.. being sweet.... Dont' you think that would up the chances of getting a second date? For me it absolutely would.. It won't up the chances for a second date. You'll get the second date by being compatible, not by trying to bribe her with a gift. Bring the flowers on the second date if you like her! Bringing gifts on the first date makes you look like a desperate tool! it's not bribing.. it's being sweet... don't you think they like each other if they are going out in the first place?

NO. I'd just call them...Forget about getting all upset about the little things. Try no to over think the reasons for him not calling. You are in a relationship and you should help carry that relationship if you want it to last. So pick up the slack and call him. I agree..I wouldn't be upset at all.. I know what its like to be busy.. it's when someone doesn't take the time to call or text on a regular basis that will make me end it.. point noted

Many of us have been in VERY bad relationships in the past. Probably, in a lot of cases, more than one. Now here we are on a " dating " site. But, could part of the reason why the majority of us are even here, be because we simply don't trust ourselves to make a good decision about our next potential mate?? I mean, with my previous track record, I really am not sure if I can trust myself to make a good decision about who I should be interested in. Anyone else??? I trust myself.. I'm here cuase I don't have time to get out sometimes being too busy.. and I can find good conversation here anytime day or night... I've found people I enjoy talking to... Haven't had anyone meet me yet.. but who knows.. I'm in no rush... Good girls are never in rush.. Thats make you a good girl.. Samara is a good girl

ok, go borrow a friends dog I met a guy at the nail salon.. he was walking in to buy a gift certificate for a friend at work.. maybe if you went to a women's clothing store and shopped asking a girls opinion for something you were gonna buy for your sister? that never happened to me though... not sure about that htouhg.. just popped into my head.. |

Wednesday at the Supermarket ....an article metioned that everyone eats and the busiest day was coupon day . Also Bookstores , the doors are a natural filter , it is my experience that readers are well rounded and more fun too . The same goes for the library . I think bars are fun but I have never been a big fan . Im not a big fan of bars.. I never dated anyone I met on the pool team.. they are mostly big drinkers and smokers

well i was refering that if you are "choosing" to fall in love, then you are only fooling yourself for whatever reasons. I know people who start dating and then its "i am sOO in love with ___" which is completely taken out of contex to make them, personally, feel better, feel wanted, feel needed. Now weather or not they are is not the point, but i personally dont think that love can happen quickly. I wouldnt venture to imagine how long it would take some one to develop think enough skin for my and my ways  .....So their statements have nothing to do with "love", its more about personal insecurity for them

one of my last dates I met at the bank.. I was inside with the teller.. he was at the drive through, big window, was obvious he was looking at me.. we smiled.. he drove off.. I walked outside and he was in the parking lot waiting for me..
we wound up going out one day.. half way through the date he decided to tell me he was married
