Not only is it a LOCAL issue but its also complete bullsh!t. Any sexual eduacation taught in schools is required to go through a PTA led vetting process and the Parents still have the individual right to WITHDRAW their child from the class when its being taught so that they can CHOOSE when and how to educate their children.

This crap about kids being forced to learn about homosexuality is false and nothing more than fear-mongering lies being spread to push a larger issue of denying legal recognition to a group of people that the religious fanatics are terrified of.

edit: Nice link B, thats one of Bobby Kennedy's best speeches ever.

Yeah he's so dense I dont think it would help anyway. He acts like an abused child with ADD, and he needs a LOT of attention and doesnt care if its the negative kind. He wont last with that attitude anyway, its only a matter of time.

Pointing out all the ridiculous flaws in the OP's childish argument would take all friggin day so I'll get to it later.

In the meantime I would suggest he sticks to watching Nickelodeon, that is if his delicate sensibilities can handle all the violence on Double Dare.

Just because you dont like something doesnt give you the right to deprive others of their enjoyment of it.

Dont like it? Dont watch it. But try to take it away from me? Now I'm your problem.

Courtesy of With Leather:

Mixed martial arts promotional brand EliteXC and its parent company ProElite have folded, according to an SI.com report. EliteXC, which produced the first-ever MMA fights on network TV, reportedly lost $60 million in its 22 months of existence, which isn’t much of a resumé builder unless you’re looking for work in the Bush Administration.

This news, of course, comes just two weeks after Kimbo Slice’s embarrassingly disastrous loss to no-name fill-in Seth Petruzelli. Though the company’s failure is unrelated to what ultimately became EliteXC’s final fight, it’s hard not to see a symbolic connection between the way EliteXC pushed the overrated Slice to stardom instead of focusing on creating entertaining fights between talented fighters.

Of course, this also means that women’s MMA star Gina Carano is now out of a job. (Unless you count American Gladiators as a job. And I don’t.) Just this once, I’m going to say that I hope she finds a deal in a better fighting league, instead of, say, posing naked for money. I’m trying to do this thing where I’m less pig-headed. Also, I’m trying to impress Gina. Do whatever you want, girlfriend! Sky’s the limit! Call me!

I hear ya Jay, and I wouldve been able to tolerate Junies stoopid ass, but then he had to go and disparage an opportunity like being on that show.
There are thousands of fighters all over this country(myself included) that would LOVE to be blessed with an opportunity like he has by being on the show. So for him to denigrate his chance like that makes me wanna slam his nuts in a car door till he gets it.

Well I would posit that that reasoning would still be better than the faux causality of saying theres been more earthquakes because of gay marriage (which was also factually inaccurate)

edit: The greatest number of large earthquakes take place in Alaska,
but mostly in less populated areas.

The strongest earthquake in North America measured 8.6 to 9.2
on March 27, 1964, is called Good Friday earthquake.

A three month long series of earthquakes in years 1811-12 took place
along the New Madrid Fault in Missouri measured 8 in magnitude. These
eartquakes were felt all over the eastern states of U.S.

Although most earthquakes occur on the west of the Rocky Mountains, and the most violent earthquakes have occurred in the central United States, all 50 states and all U.S. territories are vulnerable to earthquakes of moderate to high risk.

I looooove it when people have no effing idea what they're talking about.

Alright heres one. We all know how bad this economy sucks right now yeah? Well like it or not Gay marriage would actually be beneficial to the economy.
When Massachusetts and Vermont had their laws revised the influx of gay couples absolutely boosted the local economy.

According to enrichment journal on the divorce rate in America:
The divorce rate in America for first marriage is 41%
The divorce rate in America for second marriage is 60%
The divorce rate in America for third marriage is 73%
