Love and Pain

Why is it that love must be filled with pain?
When you love someone, there is pain
No matter how much you love them
The more you love them
The more the pain
When you look at the man you love
You feel pain in your heart
Because you love him so deep
When you have a child
You feel pain with the birth
You feel pain when they cry and you
Don’t know the reason
You feel pain when they leave for school
You feel pain when they grow up
You feel pain when they leave you
To build their adult life
You feel pain when your loved one hurts
And you feel pain when your loved one dies
Pain
Love is pain
But I think I will take that kind of pain
Because I will know the experience of love
