Same thing happens here in Texas with the Latino/Spanish ladies. They do not understand English at all. Those that do speak broken English and it is some what confusing. Guess I really should have taken Spanish back in junior high.

Read Proverbs, what ever day it is start with that chapter, 1, 2, 3, do the same with Psalms with this book if you add 3o days to say chapter 2, chapter 32 would be next and you would read 5 Psalms a day. Then start with the New Testament and just let it absorb into your thoughts. Don't try to analyze it, then it gets confusing. God will reveal what he wants you to know. Just make it a daily habit to read His word.
