Someone who defends you is your real friend. I think it’s half half. Been there done that. The way I see it in this life and I’ll go by my moms words..Be your own friend

I have found out whom my true friends are in times like this.
Everything points to me...but im not guilty. And because it angers me to be accused, im told that is only because I am guilty, or I would not care. NOT TRUE! The people who stood behind me, no matter what the circumstances were, are my true friends. People that know what you are, and are not, capable of, and stand by that distinction. I think that unless your holding a smoking gun over the body, AND CONFESS, you should be given at least the "shadow of a doubt". Someone so quick to accuse you, is probably the guilty party. Someone who defends you, is your real friend.
