Fade is telling it straight, Kona.
A few thousand posts from now, if you get wrapped up tight in what people write, a break in here can level off the intensity and give time to regroup. The old saying, "Don't go away mad.." is true. This Mingle tends to grow on people, unlike other sites. Good luck, and may God shine on the path ahead of you. |

means you fell in love, so I guess divorce means you climbed out of it? Love alone is not sufficient to build upon. Commitment, trust, and wisdom with leadership and daring; above all, the grace of God which brings blessings to bloom amid trials and hardships; shared goals, pursued in unity of faith with each other; and the acceptance of any lot in life as being this: A bowl of meal in a marriage blessed with the above/foregoing is better by far than rich steak in a castle bereft of togetherness. |

Yes, I am prejudiced against emotionalism. Rational thought will show that the manipulation of emotionalism is behind much of the media-governance of the day. See......? Remove humans and problem solved. True. I am relieved that you would remove people, rather than eliminating them. Remove, to where? |

Went dry from booze and drugs over twenty years ago.
Have an occasional drink, on weekends, now. No pills, pot, cocaine, etc...and I'm glad for that. Haven't quit the tobacco yet. That's on the "To Do" list. |

Um...let's see...that might include me. Actually, it would include everyone that uses the internet. Let's check your IQ. Online IQ tests include requirements for cell phone numbers and mailing addresses [in order to furnish the results]. ??? |

If you mean "prejudice" as defined by the third meaning (c) of the second definition of prejudice, as listed in the Miriam-Webster online dictionary...
"2 ...c: an irrational attitude of hostility directed against an individual, a group, a race, or their supposed characteristics" ...I would remove rationality from the definition, since rationality is often viewed as being politically/socially unacceptable. In that instance, the barbarism removing rational cause from the grounds for acceptable prejudice incites emotionalism to be a mode of governance. One cannot have sane discussion of merits based upon emotionalism. Trigger words...such as "prejudice"...generate knee-jerk/trained responses when rationality is absent. Yes, I am prejudiced against emotionalism. Rational thought will show that the manipulation of emotionalism is behind much of the media-governance of the day. |

being poor and lonely is a time for self-reflection.
being poor with a family is a test of one's character. being lonely with a family is truly rough. giving up riches for love is thought to be wise giving up loneliness for love does not seem unwise let the memory of the bite of poverty and loneliness remain clear, after love is come, so that foolish reasoning and logic are kept in chains to wisdom. |
