I definitely enjoy it. However, in the past, it only leads me to disappointment when it turns out the girl was just playing good ol' mind games.

Funny thing is, my 20 year old V8 barge gets 25mpg mixed city/hwy. Pure highway driving, I've gotten 33mpg. Nowadays, I see some 4cyl cars getting 19 city 24 hwy (new EVO comes to mind, along with a 2.0L Saab I saw with a window sticker). They're just making cars so freakin heavy now.

Gas prices are going to completely ruin the economy soon. At the rate prices are going up, it's inevitable.

ya, there all GM's i forgot caddy's too ! Yep, sure did! As I said, though, we've never been brand biased. We're always willing to try out different cars. If they're good they're good, if they're not they're not. No matter if it's Chevy, Ford, Citroen, Porsche, etc. |

it's a GM and GM makes all pontiac ,buick, chevy, gmc ! So they're all GMs, not Chevies! Hahaha, I'm just givin ya a hard time. |

i dont know too much about cars but im all about the classics hot rods muscle cars like firebirds, camero, novas ect.. I don't recall Chevy making the Firebird :P Besides, my favorite muscle car of all time is a Ford. The 66/67 Fairlane to be exact. The best looking body style of all time. |

Haha I wish I had that kinda money. There's not even $2500 invested in my Tbird (including purchase price) but it's pretty quick, rides smooth as silk, and it's SOOOO much fun to mess with ricers in my stock lookin "grandpa's car." I've been saving a lot of money for my new engine though; lookin to get a set of aluminum heads this weekend. I'm hopin to run mid 13s in the 1/4 once the engine is done (and the tranny will see some attention as well).
*gasp* I almost forgot engine pics!!! My engine: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v173/kingcars/?action=view¤t=newtbirdpics007.jpg Chevelle engine: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v173/kingcars/?action=view¤t=NewChevellePics007.jpg I also have acceleration videos of each if anyone's interested :D |

Hahaha hey now, it really is a great car. Very reliable (has NEVER left me stranded), rattle free, runs very very strong. We're not manufacturer oriented; we like all makes! We have a Chevy, Ford, Honda, Toyota, and Pontiac all sitting in the driveway (or garage).

I sure am! Started off with my dad racing at a local short track when I was 5 years old. I always hung around the shop and watched everyone work on the car (and helped if I could). Then dad sold the race car and got a 1966 Chevelle about 10 years ago (which we still have). It currently has a small block chevy bored and stroked to 383ci; it's pushin around 400hp. It's fast, to say the least!
Pics: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v173/kingcars/?action=view¤t=NewChevellePics004.jpg http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v173/kingcars/?action=view¤t=NewChevellePics008.jpg Also, I'm following the family tradition with my 1988 Thunderbird. It's my first car; it was handed to me when I was 15 and I've had it for the 5 years since. It has a 5.0L V8, but Ford detuned it in the Tbird (155hp in the Tbird 5.0 compared to 225hp for the Mustang 5.0 of the same year). Of course it didn't stay that way for long; my dad and I brought it up to Mustang spec and put 3.27 ratio gears in the back. I like to take it to the dragstip sometimes for some fun. Her best run on a 1/4mi was 14.662 @ 94.87mph. I'm currently working on a new engine build; aiming for 300hp. If so, lets see some rides! |

I couldn't agree more, nighthawk. I've been playing GTA games since GTA2 (2D, top down view ftw!). I never hurt people, I always get great grades in school (4.0GPA in HS, 3.6GPA so far in college), never caused trouble, etc. My friends are the same way.
The problem lies with the parents. They let the TV/game console raise their kids instead of doing it themselves. And there is this other thing called discipline, which seems to be a rather rare thing to see from parents these days. |
