My "baby" is 12 years old, and going into 7th grade.
She got her 1st degree black belt in Korean Tae Kwon Do this past December, and makes decent grades in school. During the divorce, she was an amazing girl, her grades barely dipped, and when I moved out, she took everything in stride. She wants to be a veterinarian when she goes to college, and with her science scores, I know she'll be able to do it. This girl just amazes me every time I see her. |

my daughter is 12..and her boyfriend is twelve.. they are "in love" and miss eachother so much with school being out. his mother has offered to take them out to the movies or the mall.. It may be that my daughter is 12 as well, but I would be uncomfortable with that. Of course, my first supervised date was at 14, so that's when I would want her to wait. I will say that I see young teenagers (and younger) going out on dates to the movie theater every Friday night. It's scary to see how "made up" the girl's are. Make sure that when your daughter goes out with him, she's not dressed up like a hoochy mama. |

Actually, this did happen to me this past May. I called him, he broke up with me OVER THE D@MN PHONE!!! and not 3 days later, I found out he's getting married to someone he works with. But getting to your question, Mirror... yes, it bothered me, only because I was really close to this guy, but I'm over it now. |
