I've been a caregiver for the elderly in their homes for many years. Usually, my work involves working 24/7 five days and nights per week, allowing me the opportunity of becoming close to family members. In the past twenty years I've seen many families torn apart over material possessions. I am still amazed at those who don't realize how unimportant material things are.
