Are you scared things might take a turn for the worse when you finally meet?

Well, I wouldn't be honest if I didn't think there was that slim chance. People keep telling me that there could be. But, would I regret it...NO WAY! If you run around afraid to open your heart, you will miss out on so much. I am not sure you guys understand the depth to which Peccy and I have shared of ourselves. I Know more about this man in 5 months than I know about most anyone in my family. So, do I think we will meet and all the things we have shared in 5 months will just fly out the window??? Noooooo way! Am I a little nervous? YUP LOL bigsmile

Sounds like you're well into your honeymoon. When he's brushing his teeth and you're on the toilet making rude noises well and he's rating them according to accoustics and fragrence, that's real love. Can ya picture it? <brush brush brush> <clink> toot plop plop toot... he's brushing, lets go of the tooth brush, looks at you and signs a scale from 1 to 10 and smiles that foam at the mouth toothpaste smile... <flush> <wipe> You take a bow. rofl rofl rofl

Sigh, there is no wondering at why I've fallen, he's a true poet. Siiiiiiiightongue2smitten

everytime I look at her I get a lil more pissed off at him. mad explode frustrated

I think often, when abuse like that is going on, the victim is concerned that the victimizer will get in trouble. Maybe you should seem more indifferent. She may detect you're already hating this guy and will probably hold back as long as she can sense that. If you can get her to relax some about this, maybe she'll feel like opening up a little more. Then of course you try to get her to consider going to the local domestic abuse coalition for the kind of help she really needs. Hell, if you get her to talk just a little you could go and grab a few brochures on your own, and see if she is interested in any sort of domestic abuse counseling. That way if she were scared or embarrassed (because people DO get embarrassed, awful but true) she would not have to go in person right off.
No, cops will not act on hearsay, in fact, they seem little concerned even showing up at the actual scene of a violent domestic act.

It almost seems like having to go through all that time, energy, and the possible rejection would only aid to one's depression. Do they insist someone take medication for their illness in order to recieve benefits? Or may you refuse to help yourself in that way and still collect?

In your opinion, are there cases in which a person who is chronically depressed, should be allowed to recieve disability?

But since it is usually women who prepare most the meals, they then have got to cook more; two dishes one w/ meat one w/o... that sort of thing. Too much, just eat meatrofl

 Should you obey your husband ?

First thought.

<=- Would you obey this? I hope not! I'm usually the one being told to obey. Never works.

I'd be the most docile & obedient wife but, before very long, I'd ask my husband build me a robot (that waits on me hand and foot!) in his exact likeness then I'd push the real one down the stairs! Wait, did I just say that out loud? ****.
