I've taken it twice. Both times from Denver to Chicago. No problems either time. Had a sleeper car and slept like a baby. Of course, both times the train was incredibly late, but once you got on, it was smooth sailing. I also didn't like the fact that they close the dining car so early (it was 10pm) - no late night snacking.

It depends on the "love" - how deep the feelings and whether it was love, or being "IN LOVE". I love quickly and easily and those relationships have typically ended in good friendships. However, the couple of times I have actually been "in love", it took a long time to get over and I was incapable of maintaining friendships.
