BATESVILLE, Miss. (AP) — It took investigators more than a year of painstaking work, but they say they have finally cracked the case of a former high school cheerleader who was found near death in her rural Mississippi hometown after being doused with a flammable liquid and set on fire.

District Attorney John Champion announced Wednesday that Quinton Verdell Tellis, 27, has been charged with capital murder in the death of 19-year-old Jessica Chambers. She was found along a road, badly burned, on Dec. 6, 2014. Her vehicle was on fire. She suffered burns over 98 percent of her body and died hours later at a hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

"This has been the most unusual case that I've ever dealt with," Champion said. "Obviously, the nature of how she died was very brutal, very horrendous."

Champion says Tellis and Chambers knew each other and were friends, but he would not describe a motive. Champion did say he believed it was a "personal crime" and not related to drug or gang activity. The prosecutor also said he would not reveal to reporters what Chambers had told firefighters who had arrived at the scene.

The horrific circumstances surrounding the young woman's death garnered national attention and cast light on concerns about violent crime in rural towns like Courtland, where Chambers and Tellis lived. Investigators were stymied early on because they were receiving no information from their "street sources," leading authorities to theorize that the killing was done by one person who told no one about what happened, Champion said.

Ben Chambers, the victim's father, said he never gave up hope that someone would be charged.

"She'll be at peace now," he said. "Whatever the law allows ... that's what I hope happens to" Tellis, he said.

Surveillance video showed Jessica Chambers at a gas station less than two hours before she was found. Her mother, Lisa Chambers, said she spoke with her daughter by phone about an hour before she was found.

Investigators had said they wanted to know where she was between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on the day she died.

"We have absolutely filled that hour in," Champion said, without divulging further details.

About 20,000 telephone numbers were analyzed, more than 150 people were questioned, and investigators traveled to Iowa and Chattanooga, Tennessee, as part of the probe.

Tellis has three prior convictions in Panola County — two for burglary and one for fleeing from police. He was released from prison in October 2014, two months before Chambers' killing.

Tellis was questioned after Chambers' death but was not named as a suspect at that time, Champion said. Tellis moved to Louisiana in the summer of 2015, and Mississippi investigators traveled there to interview him again, the district attorney said.

Well dammit, he should go to prison. he screwed Texas up by allowing Austin, Dallas, El Paso, Houston, and San Antonio to become safe haven for illegals under his governorship.

DALLAS-- The Centers for Disease Control is investigating 14 possible cases of Zika virus in the U.S. that may have been spread through sex.

The new cases include two pregnant women, notable since Zika has been linked to microcephaly in newborns -- abnormally small heads and developmental delays.

Newlyweds Dustin and Angelica Ueltschy were living in Brazil last summer when Dustin was diagnosed with Zika. Angelica was pregnant. Earlier this month, doctors told them to practice safe sex.

"It was not a point of concern but since the doctors suggested us to use protection, we are going to..." said Angelica.

The advice either to abstain from sex or use latex condoms during sex is now being given to all pregnant women whose male partners have been to Zika-affected countries.

On Feb. 5, the first known case of sexual transmission of Zika virus during the current outbreak was reported in Dallas. With today's 14 suspected cases, the CDC is re-thinking how the disease is spread.

"We really do think that mosquito-borne transmission is the most common way the virus spreads. With these new suspected cases that we're investigating, we're really becoming aware that sexual transmission might happen more often than previously thought," she said

The virus remains in the blood for an average of about one week but can stay in semen for much longer -- for as long as 62 days in one case. There's no evidence of sexual transmission from women to men.

There has been an explosion of information about Zika recently. The World Health Organization has called the explosive spread of the virus in the Americas a global health emergency and the scientific community has tried to tackle the growing threat.

In Galveston, Texas, one lab is working with the Brazilian government to find a vaccine.

Windows is easier but depends on what version you opt for. home basic is just the basic to operate it and the manufacture adds their stuff on, if they don't install their stuff correctly, you got problems. I learned that from ACER, bought their Aspire 5515 with Vista Home Basic. had it repaired three time under warranty, when warranty was up they sent me a letter saying they knew of the problems with windows and for $200 they can fix it. I bought a System Builders Service Pack of Win7 and installed it, never had any problems since.
