I think first dates should be quick and painless like a band aid..
lunch maybe meeting like to go for a walk like window shopping.. going to the mall B/c If there is no chemistry you can leave witout feeling guilty or you can then decide to continue the evening together |

You're right Nurse, best to read the profile AND view the pic. Sometimes you just aren't attracted to the person, but when you are one the fence the profile is the deciding factor, or you are attracted to the person and their profile just makes you feel uncomfortable enough to not have them as a mutual match. We girls are so smart!!!

reminds me of of my dealings with "lil' miss text message", otherwise known as one of my online dating mistakes... ... i've already talked about this one ad nauseum, so i won't bore anyone with the details, but she had this massive crackberry jones and would text her friends about anything of no significance whatsoever. food at the restaurant? that's a texting. drinks on the table? that's a texting. waiter a cuter fella than the date (namely ME!)? that's a texting, with photos. and the WORST part is that she spent SO much time texting and stuff that her food got cold and she wouldn't eat it, which pretty much meant i wasted good money on a wasted dinner, all thanks to that wench's crackberry. I dated aguy that his phone would ring soo much i felt i was by myself on the date... so now i m really by myself better be alone than with bad company i shoulda grabbed that infernal device and chucked it out a window. |

However, sometimes you can tell the players by reading their profiles. Came across one today, had his age, height, weight and how well endowed he is. His profile said his intrests were foreplay, kissing, cuddling just shows me he's not ready for a relationship, just for the first piece of tail he can get his hands on. Didn't even finish reading his profile, didn't bother going past the first 4 sentences. I don't need to know all that right away. I'd rather read the profile, see if there are common interests and goals and then meet them and find out if there is a connection or not. If not, you may have made a good friend, if so then you might have found your soulmate. I agree to the fact I do read the profile but I like the picture to see if there is an attraction I want the total package for me... that does not mean a perfect man just one perfect for me
