Open to opinions of my profile. Wondering why I can't seem to meet anyone interested in me? I am 50 but have the heart of a 25 year old, and gold. I am beginning to like living alone when I think about a man living with me and picking up after him and watching his tv shows, cooking and cleaning with no help. Seriously, I want to find someone who respects me and visa vera! Are our standards to high? Are men my age looking for the prettiest girl and not looking for a great personality? Are men with beer bellys, bad teeth, and dirty fingernails my only choice? What is going on with my generation? I can handle beer bellys, baldness is sexy, tattoos are ok, a great personality is the most important along with a great smile.

I must say I have seen women do the same things,so no it is just not men.People are like moth's,we are drawn to what we think will keep us interested.Do we get bored easy? Of course. So what are we to do to find a soulmate? I guess I have to admit that I have acted like animal, one or twice...lol, but it seems to be getting old. Sad to say but in this day and age most people are like animals,they are atracted to the brightest colors of their mate and what stands out the most.Second,distance plays a factor also because studies prove that long distance relationships do not last because you can not spend the time you need to get to know the person.So most of the people that you find that intrest you are always to far away. Thanks for your replies. And yes Fade, I agree younger men are more fun and they do seem to be attracked to me as I do look like a teacher or nurse. They have a lot of energy.....
 if you know what I mean.....

Several years ago I packed my whole life into a couple of suitcases and said goodbye to my family and got on a plane (ticket paid for)to head to New Mexico to meet my phone affair. It was awful, we didn't click at the first sight, despite all the talking and phone sex. Within in 24 hrs I was in Texas for lay over, then took a shower in New Mexico, then flew to St Louis for another lay over, then back to Columbus to go back to work on a Tuesday. (Called in sick on Monday)! I felt exhausted and like a fool. At least it didn't cost me anything but a day of pay and my pride! A well learned lesson
I suggest you get a room at a hotel and plan wisely for your escape just in case.

 Smack Dab in the heart of Hia, we have our own language here. I get a kick out of it ! We "warsh the winda's", "chaeat" means, did you eat? drather instead of rather. We tend to run words together and leave some out. Anyone know what I'm talkin bout?
