I study a lot of things. A few of those things are the Ascended Masters taught to us by the Brotherhood of the White Temple and the teachings of Thoth(who teaches the very same things the White Temple does, in fact they revere him). Thoth tries to teach us how to become ascended...to transend the physical and to break the death rebirth cycle. This is something believed and taught by many eastern religions. Existence is to experience. The only way to experience is to take on the flesh. Once the flesh has outlived its usefulness, the spirit goes to what Thoth tells us is called Amenti....the world between lives. Here we upload our experience to the Akashic record. Once uploaded, we are reborn to experience more......unless we have learned to transend. Then we only take on the flesh if we desire to experience more or as in Thoth's case, we want to help others transend.

A place, not an event. Αρμαγεδδων is the Greek word. This name can not be declined in Greek. This is common for names that are transliterated from other languages (such as Hebrew or Aramaic), but it means that its case must be derived from its context.
