Remember ONLINE just like in the reaal world their are two answers
the one you need to hear, and the one you want to hear. (LOL)
and just like you have expectation, so does the women searching for love on the internett, you know the saying for a woman to find her prince she needs to be prepared to kiss a few slimy frogs, well similar applies to us look for a good woman, before you find one that has more then one thing in common with you, you will need to be prepared to meet a ton of women for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine or a beer in dingy bar (depending on your socio economic prefrences) eventually you will find the "RIGHT ONE" who in your life and expectations is a "KEEPER" remember a lot of women put some BS and some grandious expectations online, and the "GOOD WOMEN" are also confronted with come ons from the men who also post BS & grandious expectations, so if you come across a woman and she is a bit cautious on you, be the man, work with her comfort level,and you may have to hunt no more (hopefully)

The only time someone could be romantic and not caring
Is if they have gotten hurt in the past, with a similar personality "A typical" and does not want to be hurt again,
yet for some reason they are still atracted to this FAMILIAR looking like person?

could it be LUST? could it be LOW SELF ESTEEM, or perhaps he/she is niave enough to think they are healthier now(in the mind) and that it could not happen again to them TWICE if he/she doesn't care?

SO to protect himself or herself, this person chooses to be romantic and yet keep a degree of indiference (NOT CARING)?

I know some of you will jump to respond; that is not fair and the new person, should not be held liable for other peoples' doings?

My response is the human race is 7,000,000,000 strong, and each mind is a universe in him or herself.
