Personally, I really don't care. I've hardly been with anyone ever and I really don't want to settle for someone I'm not attracted to. I'm certainly not shallow, but I must have some degree of attraction to the girl i'm seeing.

Just throw this ex away. He sounds like he's just bringing you down. You may 'love' him, but will he ever make you happy or give you what you want? Think about this: do what makes YOU happy. We can't choose for you only YOU can. Think about what you want in your life and who can do a better job of making you happy and giving you what you want.
