Yet another question that may have more than one answer. Let's see what ya all think about those little white lies

Lies are lies.. either you tell the damn truth (the whole truth) or you lie.. withholding information, leaving out a little here and there, not saying anything at all.. it is, what it is.

I need some advice... I seem to be only attracting the wrong men... are there really no "good decent" ones left? I am as real on here as I am off here...

Take a look at my profile... and let me know what you think please...

I didn't look at your profile, but I can tell you that there are plenty of decent men out there (on this site even) as I have crossed paths with quite a few and have met in person a couple.. one of which I'm crazy about and soon, plan to commit myself to wholeheartedly.. bigsmile

It all takes time and unfortunately, when you're not coming across those you wish to, then it's probably time to adjust the bar a little. Sounds as though you might want to raise your expectations of not only yourself, but those you interact with and allow to enter your life (regardless of the level of relations). It's not a bad thing. We're entitled to seeking in other what matters most to us as individuals. Our needs and desires might not accommodate everyone, but there are specifics out there to whom they will (and vice versa). I personally have high standards and refuse to budge much when it comes to people I wish to have in my life. There are many out there whose standards are just as high, if not higher.

Keep the faith and be true to yourself and what you're seeking. No reason to question it dear.. I've been searching for yrs. since my divorce almost 9 yrs. ago. It takes time and you have to be willing to wait or you'll find yourself settling just to have some means of companionship. huh

playing a game and had to pick a partner from here, who would you pick?

Any game that's "fun" "positive" and wouldn't "hurt" another's heart.. I would only pick (bdybildr) as my partner blushing love

Knowing my son was born 4 days ago. Just thought i would ask if any of you would have any suggestions in taking care of him.

There going to be times when even though there is nothing really wrong with him, othere then being fussy, you know like having gas etc etc, that will go away lol. But what are some things you have done that might help in areas like this or when he is like over tired? I heard from a friend that when he has hiccups and it don't stop. Try puting sugar on his pacifire, not that it will work all the time, but she said it will at times. I'm just puting things out there to see what you think:smile:

Congrats on the little one.. I'm a mother of 2, soon to be 11 & 15 and also had a licensed childcare (when I was married). I can tell you that, at 4 days old, I wouldn't put sugar or anything on his pacifier. Hiccups are good, just let him go through the moment (just as he did in mommy's belly). As for gas, you can lay him over your legs (supporting his head of course w/ your hand) but be sure his stomach is down on your thigh (which will help put a little pressure for release).. you can also lay him on his stomach long ways on your arm, yet holding him against your body for support. Your wrist/palm area of your hand should be some what on his stomach to again, add a little pressure. One way that has always settled a fussy baby in my experience is: when you lay them on both arms in front of you (his head in your hands) while standing and/or sitting and swaying (slowly) back and forth (side to side).. Hummmm to him and play music softly. Another thing that (some) new borns like is, their feet massaged (unless he's really sensitive). I'm sure I could think of a million things.. If you'd like me to give you any other idea's for anything at all.. you're welcome to add me as a friend.

Good luck w/ your little Angel.

I think its called manners..or at least its called manners in our day. Not too many younger people seem to show those to anyone.
If you got 50 e-mails a day from guys saying"hey cutie" would you take time out of your life to answer them all?

laugh Ummm.. I wouldn't.. noway

Is it just me or isn't it just plain old courtesy to send a reply?
Even if you are not interested. How hard is it to send someone "Thanks but no thanks."

keep in mind that the more attractive women on here get 30-40 generic e-mails a day. they can't answer them all.

I personally don't have this problem, so I answer all of my e-mails. But I have heard.

This I understand as well.. it's one thing to respond kindly in Thanks to "friendly approaches" and it's another to feel obligated to send to those who have no clue how to approach a female (even with a friendly Hello in an email). However, I have it stated in my profile that I may or may not respond, because of what's being discussed here..
Oh well.. what's a girl/guy to do (we can't be right all the time).
Hopefully, my upcoming meeting ends in commitment bigsmile and then I won't have to worry about all this anymore blushing

I truly don't understand why so many of you people are concerned about getting a response back (especially, a Thanks, but no thanks).. NO response means the same thing. Why should we have to waste our time writing to someone we're not interested in, when we could be taking that time to write to someone we are interested in.. just a thought smokin

a) a good relationship with the ex;

b) no longer stay in contact;

c) have a relationship albeit a strained one or

d) would simply like to beat the snot out of the *****/bastard?

I have a pretty d*mn good relationship w/ my ex-husband. However, he's just a friend & the father of my kids (which I'm thankful for; he's a wonderful father), yet still, I can't wait to be w/ my "new" future husband bigsmile

Ahhh, people don't seem to fond of their ex's.. I don't have mine set to speed dial.. considering it only takes a second to dial the number anyway.. but he's always a call away (if needed in a friendly way or for his children) bigsmile

There is something wrong with your date's appearance. The clothes clash. The boots don't work at all. You are about to leave their place.

Do you say anything?

LOL.. I'd be the first to open my mouth.. people really must dress in good taste; matching colors & accessories are a must :wink:
