Bikes

I've ridden Kawasaki's mainly. I started out with a KZ250LTD, then moved up to a KZ305CSR, a KZ550LTD and my last bike was a ZL1000 Eliminator. My Dad had a 700 Intruder. It was a fun bike to ride as well for a V-Twin, but it didn't feel as smooth as my in-line 4.
I wish they would still sell a good variety of new in-line 4 engine bikes (cruiser-type). Those type of engines are very durable and easy to maintain. Also I'm not sure that I could get used to the idea of riding a fuel-injected system, which I'm seeing a lot of these days. I would imagine that if a sensor would break, it would probably cost an arm and a leg to repaired. But I guess the same could be said of carbuerators as well. I mainly rode street cruisers and touring bikes. I wish I had the opportunity to ride a sport bike, but they seem awefully scary to ride. But alot a fun, I'll bet. |

I used the Chantix and been smoke free for two weeks, I do cheat every now and then but pay the price for my weakness.... How easy was it to get a prescription from your doctor? |

being a casual smoker for almost 15 years ... I stopped "cold turkey " I guess you could call it when I met my soon to be EX WIFE ... that was 20 years ago Good luck dude What seems to exacerbate my addiction also, is my love of black coffee, as well. |

I really ought to quit smoking. I sometimes why I even started in the first place.
I'm interested in hearing from all of you ex-smokers who made the successful transition to a smoke free life. Maybe, it'll inspire and motivate me to take more progressive steps to successfully do it. I honestly don't think I can quit "cold-turkey". |

I don't have the technical abilities to be a geek. I would say nerd. I read more than anyone I know (does a book a day count as a lot?). But I am also just me. And that's usually the best thing to be -- yourself. |

Okay. Topic appended. Dork is now an option.
Hmmmmm.... I'm thinking that term came from the 50's, if I'm not mistaken. Oh well. You're all cool in my book anyway. |

I think I'm more nerd than geek. I've got the tech skills, but I could still use a little more work on my social skills.
Oh and by the way, I'm too "Old School" in my terms usage as well. I guess that could be attributed to the fact that I grew up in the 70's and 80's. |

I used to like watching dirt track motorcycle racing. Then I got into watching motorcycle road racing because a lot of the dirt track riders who were making the transition to road racing were winning.

Yes, it is. When I went to the download site, there were no pop-ups or any of that other annoying stuff.

I just found this free mp3 player. It's really nice and it's free. Does a really good job of tagging your music, too. What I like about this player is the way it fades your music out and smoothly fades in your next track like a real jukebox or the way a DJ at a radio station would do to introduce the next music title.
I still use winamp, but I'm liking this player just as much. Anyone else use this? |

I just noticed that in the Mutual Match section of my profile, a notice that read that someone on here said that they would like to meet me in person. Is there a way to find out who that person is?
I'm a beginner at this. |

Oh one thing I didn't make quite clear is that I'm drawn more to the "ill-tempered" ones. :)

Is it possible that a man can get more honesty out of a woman who is more "ill-tempered" than one who is more "socially-adept"? I'm somehow drawn to women who have that kind of personality. Just a curious question, that's all.
