What made me think this person was any different then so many years ago,

I believed, I trusted, but actions speak louder then words...

I gave my heart and support that was so true,
Now all I got for it is heartache and I feel like a fool..

Frustrated, hurt, and emotionally drained,
If this loved one would only feel just a bit of my pain..........

i miss your smile, i miss your touch,
i miss your voice I loved so much.
i miss the sound of your laughter, the beating of your heart in your sleep,
The love that you gave me made me feel so complete.
Our special song, "Wind Beneath my Wings" tattooed on the side of my leg,
My love, you tried so hard to hang on and be brave.

The dreams that we shared, plans that we had made,
Memories of you my lady, in my heart will never fade.
Yes I miss your company, your friendship, and your unconditional love,

A Dedication to My Son

It was an early cold November morning, when the arrival of my bouncing little rock star was announced,

I still remember how he use to rock and roll inside me,
Like a bursting star waiting to be set free.

He was your typical baby, full of energy and noise,

As he grew into a toddler, he loved to move his body to the rhythm of the music playing on the sterio.

Although his name is Robby, to me he was "My Pumpkin".

I cannot believe how quickly the years have gone by.

Robby has turned into a fine young man, still full of energy, but alive with goals and dreams.

He dreams of days of fame, rocking and singing to country/western tunes.

My son has a heart of gold, giving his love so deeply, so completely.

Whatever he chooses to do,
I will back him 100 per cent.

He came into this world, full of vibrance and spirit.
He brings joy into who evers heart he touches.

As he grows in body and mind,
He will take a special lady into his life.

My son, I wish you the very best in all that you do,
I cherish the moments we spend together.

No matter where our lives may lead, whether near or far apart,
You are forever in my thoughts, forever in my heart.

I have learned throughout the years, from losing so many loved ones, some too early in their life.
How numbered our days could be, what it takes to survive.

I am very lucky to have family and friends who love me so much,
I know that now I need to find that special Lady to love.

I love the ocean, the moon, the stars and the sky so blue,
The warmth of the sun, fluffy white clouds, and the early morning dew.

It is amazing what we take for granted, others may never see,
So when you feel that life can be so hard, take a moment to realize how good it feels to be "free".

I can hardly wait until the winter ends, and the warm weather is here,
I love the spring, the chirping birds, and the cool night air.

Now all I need is that special someone to make my life complete,
Someone to share my life with, a companion, a friend, I wonder where she may be......

When you lose someone you love to a Terminal Ilness,
You experience a great loss, a heart wrenching emptyness.
My Lady was taken away from me at the young age of fifty one,
In the year 2004, I thought my world was over and done...
Others always say, "You have to move on", go live your life,
After 18 years together, its not that easy but I continue to survive..

Now I am ready to seek that special one,
To share all of my compassion, friendship, and be that special love...

The moral of my poem is dont give up, theres someone out there for everyone,
To make you feel happy, content, to light up your world like the sun...
