You are not wasting your time! It is hard to date in this age group, especially if you have kids! But we all have to realise that more and more people in our generation are getting divorced and are out there trying to date! And 90% of us have kids that are our priorities but we still want to have a little fun and find love again! So don't give up it is normal!!!!!
