If the dude she was caught... er... with is over the age of consent (18 in some states, 21 in others), then said dimwit is guilty of statutory rape and should be dealt with properly. My cousin's just-turned-eighteen daughter got knocked up by her tattooed-up d-bag of a boyfriend not too long ago. Even worse is the fact she wants to KEEP the kid too, DESPITE the fact she hasn't even gotten herself a half-way decent job to be able to afford the kid with. So- unless said tattooed d-bag decides to get respectable and get a job to support her and the kid-to-be with- their lives will have been gone to waste before they even got out of the gate. Canada not a crime I don't think - guy is 16 ??? not a crime in Canada if the girl is 14,sadly. Gee. Too bad. I was looking forward to the eventual "dude who hid the sausage with my niece is now gettin' violated by F-Dog and his prison mates" story that woulda happened if it took place here in the U.S. I guess you'll just have to resort to going to said d-bag's place and pummeling him with some baseball bats or something. I do kind of have a problem with this. My son just turned 17, has a girlfriend who is 14. They are not having sex, we talk about it and they are waiting. However...here's the thing..if they do have sex and it is consensual (?SP)...and she's right there with him and agreeing to it...if her parents find out and decide to go after my son, no matter what she said he'd be prosecuted. He'd end up on the sex offender list for life. Right next to the rapist and child molesters. Somehow that does not seem right. Does it?? |
