So, who else is kinda cranky?
Who else used direct deposit and was then told that they wouldn't be getting the rebate direct deposited because the IRS considers their e-file method a third party filing and therefore you have to wait longer for your rebate. ARG! This was part of my moving fund. Gonna have to move without it. I'm going to have a few VERY tight weeks. |

A friend said H&R block was making an announcement today at 5:00. Now she wonders if it is about this third party business. Since she too is overdue for her rebate.
When I called the IRS, the woman said that if you used the free online version they offer, it would go through. But for several years, I made too much to be eligible to use it. They raised the income level for free filing. I could have used it this year, but I never hear about the change, so I didn't. |

what?!? I had not heard this! How do you find out? I'm still waiting for mine, and I'm in deperate need of it! Everything has hit me all at once, and the extra cash sure would be nice!
I'm scheduled to have mine by friday cause of the last 2 of my soc, but now I'm wondering if my e-file is good or not! |

That involved 20 minutes of automated recordings and transfers, then 20 minutes on hold before I got to a live person. Since all the recordings and faq pages failed to cover this. |

yep, I found out last friday that I was getting a paper check when i expected to get it by dd.
