damn, lol. the women here are ruthless. you'll never catch me with that problem tho, but this guy can be in desperate need of help if hes coming to people for advice on a forum. so dont down him for trying to get help. your more frowned upon doing nothing or even attempting to take steps to do something.

Thanks man, I appreciate that, good looking out. drinks

yeah bro, no problem. all guys get themselves in **** like this sometime in their lives. women just dont understand it.

The worst is yet to come, I'm sure my cells battery will run out of juice tonight from her texts lol.

don't have enough info on the relationship to help ya out there...

Alright... We've gone out twice and hit things off pretty well, the only thing is her weight is a bit of a turn off. Is there a way for me to drop hints or something to have her lose some?

Been talking to this girl I met online last week. We've talked all week and finally met for a date yesturday. Now things seem kinda distant between us, I'm trying to talk to her on the phone/facebook and text messages... I haven't done anything wrong that I know of and she says she'd like to see me again on a date. Am I missing something here?

Dude looking for friendship. All my friends are either married or live out of state now... I could use some friends: guys and girls let me know.

Balky... my guy is a real Biker (no drugs or alcohol)... AND.. he is a real gentleman. (for me and any other woman) he holds doors open and let's me go first, opens my car door everytime (even why I am the one driving), will light my cigarette, pulls out my chair for me.. and more.

Am I capable of doing all of these things? Hell yes!
Is he a tough guy? Oh HELL yes again! LOL
Does he still show MANNERS to all?? yes again.
And do I appreciate his sweet gestures? ABSOLUTELY

Just food for thought flowerforyou

I do all that and I even pump their gas for them :) but still I remain ladiless.

I'm gonna experiment on being the typical guy for a bit and see how that works out.

  sad to hear this. I hope your experiment shows it is not your manners that needs to be rethought.. but maybe the type of women you are encountering/choosing.

flowerforyou

Thanks :)

Just like girls that are used and abused there are guys that are treated the same way. I'm not an alky or druggie, I work hard, study, take care of myself and my business. I'm not the player type and respect women... I'm not that ugly frustrated frustrating when girls come and go without an explaination... obviously I'm too nice

We did meet online so I can understand her bringing a friend the first time, there are weirdos on here scared

Yeh, really! If I EVER get a date I will take my Mom and my brother and the next door neighbor and the SWAT team along.
Maybe since you did the movies and couldn't talk much, the next date could be something like a picnic in the park/beach or miniature golf(or is that stupid?). Here's an idea! Have something you have to take care of(fib if you have to). Tell her you have to pick up something at the mall and ask if she would like to come along. Then it's not really a date but you're together!

Do I look threatening at all?

No, no, no, no, no, no. Not at all.

Thank you Katzenschnauzer

I'm 5'9" weight about 170 lbs and have been told I look like a backstreet boy. I really don't think I fit in the threatening category.

As far as I'm concerned. Gentlemen are just laughed at these days, I don't think ladies want that no more.

Maybe your just picking the wrong ladies...

Could be true. All I know is that you can only take so much, I'm about to change my attitude cause I am a gentleman and it's just not working... I'm gonna experiment on being the typical guy for a bit and see how that works out.

Then you guys that are meeting these women that don't care for a gentleman are meeting the wrong women! How many women on this thread have you seen say they like a man with manners? ALL of them.

They're just saying this cause they aren't the ones that are actually going out with the guys that start up these threads. It would be different if the date was with them, it's easier to talk when you're not the one going out with the 'gentleman' guy.

and no mini golf isn't stupid, I'd like to do that, the picnic idea sounds nice too I'll save that for a little later on.

Kinda. My girl showed up with her female bestfriend and we all went to the movies. She has agreed on a 2nd time going out, when would be the best time to go out again?

How about next Saturday or Friday and this time let her leave the friend at homelaugh .I mean y wait?

She's mentioned she wants to take things slow

Now, what does "slow" mean I wonder? Slow is kind of relative. A slow trip across the United States would mean one thing to you and another to me. I guess set up a date for Friday night and then cancel/postpone until Sept 14?

Cancel/postpone until Sept 14? you mean if it gets canceled for some reason ask again for Sept 14?

I don't think that is going fast it's only a second date. How long do u think u should wait?

We live really close by to each other, so we can easily do something during the week I think. I was thinking sometime in the middle of the week? or the weekend. I don't wanna seem too desperate
