I belong to several really good groups for parents of special needs children.
The first two are yahoo groups: SpecialChildExchange SCE-Equipment (this one is a spin off of the first and is solely for buying and selling outgrown or unneeded equipment and supplies) And also a great email group is called: OUR-KIDS@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU All of these have been lifesavers for me in the past. Super peer support and resources for finding things you need and can't afford or can't find otherwise. |

update: i changed 3 toilet flappers and so far, so good. thanks guys Is there where I'm allowed to laugh at the thought of you changing toilet flappers? For some reason, it just makes me giggle. BTW.......good job! I always use the word "thingie" too on this stuff. Who comes up with these terms anyhow? |

I've been reading through my facebook. Not sure it was a good idea to put my ex in laws on there. Hmmmmmm. I'm still not sure if they even really like me. Sad thing is, I really like them. |

We can put a man on the moon but we still don't have disposable frying pans! Well sometimes I use the George Foreman. Used to have a GREAT electric skillet, but it bit the dust. Now all I have is these crappy pans that are hard to clean! Maybe someday I'll hit the lottery and buy some good ones. OOPs......off topic, sorry! |

When it comes to the grandkids I was in the birthing room :) just being pleasant and around the x is another thing hard at times :) My grandkids are my heart. :) I hear ya' there Carol. I usually do ok, but when my ex disappoints the kids time and time again, it gets so hard to be pleasant. Good Evening folks......

You're too young for me but I will be up front about who I am to show you that most of us women have our integrity intact.
Here goes: I stay up too late. I eat way too much trans-fat and don't care. I hate cleaning house. I have a dirty frying pan and casserole dish in my oven. I've told untruths before. I owe money. I don't go to church. I swear sometimes. I have frowned at misbehaving children in public. I paddled my lil' doggy once with my 4 fingers. I've hidden from salespeople at my front door. I drive too fast. I've run yellow lights. I tailgate stupid people in the fast lane. I have used Christmas seals mailed to me but haven't donated. I stole an eyelash curler when I was 10. I love love love this post! I usually have a frying pan in my oven too....
