Well, I'll be the bold one and say absolutely, under one condition..

Would you date me? happy

But, agreed, the distance is abit of an obstacle, but nothing that can't be overcome with the will to do so. Age, doesn't bother me, you're legal, so who cares?

The average american isn't represented in the higher-agenda mindset of the government. They represent the power base, wealth-wise, policy-wise, law-wise.

They don't care about polls, they don't care about the common man, and they never will. The common man can't afford their bribes, and has no influence among their friends.

They toss us a bone every once in awhile, but by and large we're nothing more than tickets they can cash in on.

I suggest that a war only makes warring desireable. bigsmile

But yes, there's no easy or effective way of dealing with a drug problem on such a large scale.

I do see a possibility though. With all the pharmaceutical industries mass-marketing drugs for all sorts of purposes, the day may soon come when some of the illicit narcotics being produced in third world countries won't be sought anymore. If that happened, the cartels would have to find another line of work.

The war on drugs is only pointless because it isn't handled properly. I say forget trying to find crops and stuff. Let's start getting those egghead scientists (admittedly, I am sometimes one of those myself) to bio-engineer insects to eat the drugs.

Or, more realistically, tighten up the borders. Either deal with the supply, or deal with the demand (impossible really), or make it impossible to get them into the hands of the buyers.

I do think the powers in charge have no interest in stopping drugs, though. Hell, half the time they get caught doing a line of coke in some hotel room anyway. Why would they want to make it tougher to get it?

What does ms13 care about..

Probably their drugs. If I were a drug cartel, I'd care about the drugs, and the money. Of course, they're also people. They have heroes in their past, and present. Leaders of their gang, favorite hangouts, plasces with a history, you get the idea, right?

It's Psychological Warfare, really.

I agree, Dragoness.

They defaced a monument, but I suspect if we started shooting at them as some suggest, they would likely do the same to us, and then the situation would devolve into a war.

Funny how that works, eh?

Maybe they did it for the national exposure, and we gave them exactly what they wanted. Shall we continue to let them have even further time in the spotlight? They're probably grinning somewhere over it. Let's laugh at them instead.

Graffiti was an example.

Notice, I said whatever they hold dear.

They defaced something we hold dear, so we deface something they hold dear.

That's my solution.

I thought it would be understandable, but perhaps heads are too steamed up.

If it can't be discussed in a civilized manner, why continue?

Done.

The very same for them, would be to deface them publically, not "cap" them.

I'm a big proponent of "an eye for an eye", not "an arm for an eye". Find their leader, graffiti up his or her place, or car, or whatever it is they hold dear.

100% payback, without going too far.

There's my solution.

Ok, you win.

I'm too much of a "smartypants" to come up with a solution.
Let's just all be spun out of control toward a course of vendetta.

Because some girls are users, and want to make users of their circle of friends, so they won't be viewed in the bad light that users often are.

That's my take on it, anyway.

Yeah, let's become a gang ourselves.

That'll show those gangs to behave like a gang, and do gang-related stuff.
