Lying isn't a male trait. i wish that women out there would just stop saying that. it's getting to sound sexist. I've been very honest and i've ended up with a few women that were liars and well... just very deceptive in general. I think lying is a human flaw regardless of gender. there is no more or less, or genetic predisposition in males to lie, but that's what i'm hearing being suggested as of late. and then someone feels the need to make a blanket statement then moan about it online. You've had someone lie to you, great. simple solution, find someone with a moral backbone who doesn't or someone who's willing to own up to things when they have. we all lie at one time or another, just part of the fact that we are mortal beings with the ability to communicate.Lying is about self preservation, pure and simple.

you don't look bad at all, but to be honest.... it's a slim to none chance that you'll actually find someone on here. I've tried finding a girl for a long time on here and have edited my profile multiple times, resulting in meeting one person who i went out with once. there's a reason why these sites are free because it isn't that easy to find someone that you actually connect with. Hell, you might even have better luck on Myspace, but that attends to attract younger people. so if you don't mind on being hit on by 20 year olds, it's the best place to be. Here is something really odd that i've figured out about this site and other dating sites out there. Women tend to be attracted to men with shorter profiles that tell less about themselves and men tend to be attracted to women that have lengthier profiles that tell more about themselves. I used to have a long profile and then i started talking to some friends of mine that weren't successful in finding a match, but got women to talk to them and seriously, they only had a few lines in their profiles and maybe one or two pics. most of the women that i've talked to tell something basic about themselves, where they went to school and what they do for a living... that would be a good start.

It's come to my attention that MN people don't like posting in the MN forums. However, that's understandable, considering that they would rather just IM or email someone privately who is in the general "pool" of people based on their status and preference. Maybe we should plan another singles get together, equally divided by gender and by age group? that would help the people who have not yet had luck on this site.unless.... people are so anti-social, that they even afraid to meet new peers in a busy public place.

relax. sometimes you have to put a better bait out there. it's hard to get people into you when you dont have much in your profile or only have one pic. people want to see you from different perspectives, people are lazy and dont want to do any hard work to get to know who you are. give it time and some guy who doesn't think that way will come along and drop you a reply that's worthwhile to read.

I call randomly and unexpectedly, but not right away. they dont really seem to mind (if they actually like me). just my opinion though, everyone is different.
