or are humans just role playing?
If it's real then why do we put limitations on how many people we can officially love (one)... (implies a non-natural limitation) You can love a girl, a girl can love a girl, man can love a man, man can love lamp, girl can love dog, lamp can't love man, dog can be protective of girl. thinking... thinking... thinking... Well, if people can draw pictures off the top of their head and translate it into reality; if people can build buildings; and if people can design jet engines from an imaginary idea in their head... then that means love IS real because a human or humans have created and built the imaginary idea in their heads and translated it to reality. Conversely, if love were never created by humans, it would never exist. In conclusion, humans ARE role playing a REAL idea that was built by the imagination of a human or human who translated it into reality. We are passangers on an airplane that was built by another. The airplane design is changable for better or worse over time by the people who question it and design a different plane to ride. |

Very deep. Love is real. Now, I know many will not agree with me, but, God is love. Love is from God. Love in innate. Even as a baby we immediately began loving. Ever see a really small baby light up when its mommy walks in the room? Also there are different kinds of love. Intimate love meant for the special one, parental love, friendships, etc.
Thought provoking post. |

Genius nice hypothesis. Now I know you've felt love, say for a mother or a child. Tell me is love real or just based on someone's perception of it.
I didn't love my husband the way I love my daughter so is my perception different or is love the emotion tied to something greater. And on a side note, I have never felt any limitation on the number I love nor my ability to share it. |

Damn, now I can't stop thinking about this. If your hypothesis is correct then a broken heart should be a perception created by someone's reality. If I change my perception of it will it heal.
Damn you Genius, can't I just want to tap the person above me. Oh that would be me and I tap myself all the time. |

I would imagine it is an evolutionary emotion that has been brought about to contribute to the survival of human and society,,,but I would imagine can be effected and programmed stronger or less profound by life's experiences, chemical defects and dna structure..
Does it become real once you imagine it? It's on different levels for everyone and I would say it's a real emotion... so then it is real.. This emotion can be measured.. Produces chemical and body changes while it is present, and most people would agree it is an happening event right? So, I would say it's real... I could be wrong I don't know,, but this is a subject that I would love to study and learn more about... |

If love isnt real then why does it hurt your heart so bad when its gone? Manufactured "feelings"? You get the same feeling when someone robs you, or lose your life savings in a stock market crash... It's just the feeling of massive vulnerability. But... yeh like I said before.. love IS real. |
