Why wut?!!!
When I joined, initially it was because all the other dating sites (that I tried) made unrealistic claims of successful matching. Only to find out that on one site, there is blatant racial discrimination tolerated by the administration of the site. On another you were required to pay a ridiculous monthly fee for matching up with batches of incompatible persons whose criteria was vague or presumptuous. On every site there will be scammers of every kind. This is simply the nature of the interwebs. It is unavoidable, and you just haves to trod with caution. Especially when someone is using an obviously bogus photo, of a recognized professional model or former hasbeen pornstar wannabe.
When I joined Mingle2 I had had just about enough of the bs claims of the so called leading dating sites.
But then because I am a widower, I have become fickle for what I am interested in, for a prospective significant other candidate to pursue the cultivation of initial friendship and dialogue, with the primary objective of crafting a relationship together and of course settling down somewhere to live happily ever after, despite the upheavals in popular culture, politics and economic turmoil, which we all have to bear - like it or loathe it.
○ So, I am looking for a certain individual, that appeals to my aesthetic interests, who is not a bimbo, but possesses indisputable qualities of personal nature AND character, with intelligence. Which by default also has values, ethics and principles that define them. ○ It is so much easier to make friends with people when you're a child, because you're still innocent and un-corrupted from life's hard realities which are earned from living and surviving into adult-hood.
With so many unsuitable users, some legitimate, and plenty that are obvious scammers, to plain users looking for a gullible victim with benefits. Somewhere in the morass there may yet be, someone whose syntax and grammar is genuine, not run through a translation app. And whose photos are recent, not inches out of date.
