My impression of you is New Age maybe Wicka or the like. That would be "Wicca". And, her views are not even close to Wiccan from what I have seen her write here or elsewhere. Of course, I could be wrong. 
I do have Wiccan tendencies but I am not Wiccan. They believe in the respect of all religions and non religions. They believe in personal power and responsibility. They believe in what you put out, bad or good, you get back. They believe just by living we effect our environment so try to live well and responsibly. They believe in living this life and cherishing everyday. These are things that I believe in also. LOL Utopia? No, I do not have delusions in that sense. We are personally responsible for our very own happiness and life. We are not going to be handed heaven, we have to make what we have heaven. We are blessed with this life. NO matter what is handed us during this life, it is our responsibliity to make the best of it for ourselves. As for original sin etc... that would be biblical or Christian in origin, the Wiccan religion is much much older than that. Believing in the power of the world around them is more up their alley. They have dual gender gods too. Now the ten commandments of the bible are probably the best thing to come from it, excluding a couple of them or at least editing them. |

This was in England back in early eighties. I made a point from that day onwards to verbally torment them like asking them things like "do you play with our toys at night before you go to bed?" and keeping a straight face . or how was your three some last week if there are three of them

I was watching the demonstration that happened here yesterday over the National Healthcare plan. Pelosi was here touring a clinic. When they interviewed the anti healthcare people, I was shocked to see that they believe lies or made up facts. The national healthcare bill is not a violation of anyone's constitutional rights at any level, so where do they get that information? It is not socialized healthcare either so where do they get that information? The anti national health care people seem to believe that the healthcare problem is not a serious one. Is that because they all have healthcare? Do people realize that there are forces at work that do not want this type of healthcare offered because it would hurt their bottom line? That these forces would say anything to stop this from happening? I have to wonder is this the result of an underlying issue that has nothing to do with healthcare. Because the validity of the argument is mute????? when you're trying to sell something...to 85% of the people...who are happy with what they already have...it's a losing proposition...if Obama really wanted to do it right...he'd fix it for the 10 million or so...who work...are poor...and don't have healthcare...like one of the townhall protesters said.." It'll be a cold day in hell...before I let Obama socialize my healthcare ! "... Again it is not socialized healthcare so that is a lie. |

There is a book written by man that has all these doctrines, open to interpretation, that should be followed to the tee, open to interpretation, or all hell breaks loose. I don't classify myself. Others have told me I am too spiritual to be atheist. I have no questions so I am not an agnostic. I do not believe in the man made gods, none of them. They are created by man, whether he had good intentions when he created the religions or not, I do not know. |

When they come to my house in October, they sure don't like my Halloween decorations. They also didn't like it when they came over and I was leaving to donate blood. You know that I had to let them know that I was doing that. 
I understand where they are coming from in regards to Halloween. But...I'm not a Pagan celebrating a Pagan holiday. It's about candy and costumes to the children. I'm decorating for the children so they have fun on that day. My child loves it too. I can't relate to the blood transfusions though. It saves lives. |
