Poetry in my depression.
|
|
Lovely ![]() I have severe depression. I have anxiety and insomnia from the depression, and often go through a depression, anxiety, insomnia cycle, which is triggered/agitated by stress. Sometimes I will be moved to write a poem or so, create a painting, computer graphic, or some other form of art to attempt to relieve the suffering. I don't see it as an outlet, but it would be nice if it was. Thank you, and I understand completely I suffer from the same. I paint, write, and compose music on the piano that seems to somewhat convey my inner misery but never seems to actually help. |

Invisible, in the shadows and never seen.
Caught in cracks, slipping further between. I scream to the top of my lungs and nobody can hear. I cry until my eyes are dry, and no one ever sees a tear. I fall off the face of the earth, yet no one looks for me. What will it take to get someone to see? I've cried out for help many times in life. Yet, most refuse or care to see the strife. My nights left sleepless. My heart feels beat-less. ..you'll never see me because I'm not here. That, is my nightmare come true. My biggest fear. |

That this broken plate of my jaw is horribly painful. I never knew anyone that had a plate in there jaw. How in the hell did it get in there? I had a chick throw a beer bottle at me once but never a plate...... ![]() It's the outer area of the jaw. I know I was just joking. I hope you feel better... ![]() I'm awful at catching humor in text, lol. Thank you. :flowersforyou: |

I'm with Torgo on that. I hate the term Torture Porn. Splatter film works, which was a term coined by Romero. Then I'll use Splatterfilm. As I remember, Clive Barker's novels were called "Splatterpunk" back in the day. I forgot about that. There is another term as well, but I can't remember what it is exactly. |

One I totally forgot about. I'm A Cyborg, but That's Ok. And, even though it's horror related.. May. When I first started online dating, fellas said they were into horror movies. They would list things that would be on the film of the month club list. Mild. I would use May as a gage to see if they were really horror fans or just trying to blow smoke. 9 out of 10 times they were blowing smoke. May goes in my book as the all time best. And I thought that actress was perfect for that part. The girl that played May was perfect for the role. She also played Carrie in the remake of Carrie, if I could have stood watching it for more than 2 minutes it might have been alright. However, I do know a lot of people who love horror movies, and couldn't stand that movie. (May, that is.) For whatever reason. Angela Bettis, I really like her. She was great in The Toolbox Murders remake. She also directed Lucky McKee in Roman. I couldn't think of her last name, and I still haven't watched The Toolbox Murders remake. That gives me more of a reason too. |

WHY CARE ABOUT HOW YOU LOOK?

I'm just curious. How can you say you're non-judgmental on your profile, then call a lot of people on the site insecure. I'm a little lost.

I'm trying to catch up on my movie list while I have the flu. Another one I forgot to mention was, The Nines. However, it was horrible and the trailer didn't prepare me for the random bursting out in song. |
