I can't even get one date(not for lack of trying) muchless trying to see however many at one time.

I enjoy dating responsible single men of culture, class, taste, and personality. But its not exclusively. I've been known to date a "jethro" once in awhile. But I am not biased because of past discrepancies and date only one type of person.

if it's ok to date somebody of only one race, why is it considered racist to not date somebody because of their color? wouldn't it be racist either way? or is it just a matter of perception depending on which race sets this standard? kinda like the difference between black power and white power, black power is alright because they say it's pride for their race yet white power is racist event hough they say the same thing.

Everyone has a preference. There are plenty of white women out there that only date black men and vice versa. Depends on the individual. No big deal to me. Some are like you and have an open mind about race, religion, nationality etc.. I don't see it as rude just a little closed minded IMO.

I am open minded. It doesn't matter as long as she loves and cares for me. But she does need to have a brain.

You are not overreacting AT ALL! It applies to alot of things, not just race. Just because I don't look like a barbie doll or a size 4 doesnt mean I am a bad person. I even encountered someone that didn't like me because I drive a mini van and another because he "can't tolerate shy". It is our judgmental society. Get to know someone for the person they are regardless of the flaws, race, checking account balance etc. You would be surprised how nice people can be when given HALF a chance!

I've been on a few months, went out on one date, but haven't really been looking....

I'm supposed to go on a date on Friday with someone I met on JSH.....so we'll see....
