I'm the same online as I am in person. Granted, I next to never meet anyone in person anymore, even if they are just friends that I DO know here in town. I'm holed at home almost 24/7. Basically, the internet is my "outside world meeting people".

Have you REALLY listened to Metallica's Death Magnetic album?? Yes. It is better than their previous few albums, then again, virtually everything is. It is not a bad album, just nothing outstanding to me in any form. And I find the Black Album almost their worst album because how goddamn overplayed, overhyped and overtalked about it is. I remember loving it when I first heard it, and now I just want to cry when people bring it up. Mustaine is on a personal mission to make himself the most ridiculed individual in music I think. I feel about his latest albums the way I do about Metallica's. It has become less about the music, and more about the personality disorder putting it out. Not bad stuff, but still rubs me the wrong way. I am really enjoying the new Deathspell Omega and the latest grave releases. Currently listening to Saxon - To Hell And Back Again http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Um-6mGZxqo8 And pretty much every song off their Strong Arm of the Law album. Well, might be biased since Metallica is my favorite band of all time, but I didn't mind when they toned it down some on Load. I felt Load was a good album. Mustaine is one hell of a guitar player, you can't deny that. Dude has some of the sickest riffs I've ever heard, along with Hetfield. Those two are riff masters. I also think, lyric wise, they are good. I think Hetfield takes the edge though, cause listen to Master of Puppets...just a masterpiece musically and lyrically. If it was all less about the music, then Metallica could've cared less about putting out Death Magnetic and written like they did. It's a brilliant album, they haven't wrote stuff like that in years. And the Black Album, overhyped? I don't think so, it's STILL selling like crazy after all these years, just like the other albums. I listen to all genre's of metal, but personally black metal..play as fast as you want, but the fact of the matter is the drummers nowadays (most of them) use triggers on the drum pedals and the guitar players just play a few chords fast, if you can play guitar well (I've played for 17 years) you can riff fast all you want. I could write, musically with a guitar, a black metal song in 5 minutes, doesn't take much. Black album may be overplayed, but hey, guess that happens when you had such a brilliant album and the whole album is damn good, no matter what anyway says. There's a reason Metallica is in the rock n roll hall of fame...and there's a reason they are #2 all-time on the most sold records list, only behind Michael Jackson, they past The Beatles 2 years ago.. |

I've recently ran into a bully on the internet, it wasn't on this site but a different one. He wrote me a private message saying the video I had of me playing guitar to a song I had up was played wrong and I didn't know what I was doing...Hmm Let's think about this shall we? First and foremost, I wrote him back, he was 56 years old, not a metal fan at all, and never played guitar. 2) How in the hell did he know I was playing it wrong? I had many people say "great job, sounds awesome", I had my guitar and the music at the same level, so you could hear both easily. Again, never played guitar, so how would he know?! 3) Didn't know what I was doing...again, never played guitar. If I didn't know what I was doing, why would I have spent $700 on that Jackson guitar (in/on my profile)? If I didn't know how to play, I would go buy some P.O.S. and learn. I've been playing for 17 years! 4) He replied and said there's no way I could be playing it right when I was all over the fret board. Um, in case nobody knows, it's METAL music, they're all over the place. Ever heard Master of Puppets by Metallica (example song)..that song is fast as hell, the riffs are constantly all over the place. Yea, I blocked his a$$ That is not a bully, that is just an idiot. I see them all the time on music sites. Bullies are the guys who discover you like metal music, and then try to get the whole forums to kick you out with constant forum harassment. Ooooh no, he constantly starting harassing me afterwards. As the days went by, I got sick of it. It wasn't a music site either. When I asked him what body style and pickups I had on the guitar (which, body style is Randy Rhoads, pickups are EMG's) he had no clue. He say flying V and electric pickups LOL, dumba$$ |

I don't hate the new Testament. They're still shredding away, doing their own thing and not putting out bad to really bad like Metallica and Megadeth. That being said, it certainly isn't their best work. It's not s good as some of their other stuff Have you REALLY listened to Metallica's Death Magnetic album?? It's their best since Justice or the Black Album. They really stepped it up and from all the live stuff I've heard and the 2 blu-ray concerts from last year, they sound perfect. Megadeth on the other hand...Endgame I thought was a brilliant album, but I don't really like their new album. It bored me except for 2 songs. |

Just from personal experience, no matter what picture I have, it doesn't matter. Again, from my experience, the pictures don't really do anyone any justice. Hell, my guitar looks better than I do for f*** sake

I'm sure many around here wouldn't call me a "decent man." But, I'll give my thoughts anyway. I'm 50 and I have no trouble attracting women in their late teens and early 20s. They are thin, beautiful and willing to please. Their bodies are firm and feel good in my hands. When I can have women like them there's no reason for me to date mature women. Damn, I have trouble attracting anyone..

Honestly, I don't know why the instant chat here on Mingle isn't a requirement for EVERYONE to have. You either check the box yes or no to use, if no, then guess you can't sign up....seems simple to me. I don't usually just give out my Yahoo or Skype ID's right away either. I do have to admit though, without using the IM feature here on Mingle, sending messages back n forth in the "Mail" part gets quite old and frustrating after awhile. Hard to hold a conversation (now, this is just my opinion here) if you're having to write back n forth instead of using the IM where you can type, send, write back 5x's faster than sending "Mail"
