I love you all.. but why is it that they seem to want to be treatd like ****? i mean really? when i'm not the nicest guy they won't go away.... but whn i'm that ******* who just uses them they won't leave me be? any women out there not want that ******* No Way, I got a guy now that treats me like gold, my own father never treated me so good, and I LOVE IT!!! I have had guys who didnt' treat me so well, and I was depressed alot, now, guess what, I am not so sad anymore, at least not about my relationship, it's usually other stuff, family, job, the ususal. But now with his support it's nice, Sooo, with that being said, I would say, Keep looking till you find her, she is out there waiting. Put up you radar.... |

Hmmmm, actually this year went well for me, snagged a better job, but I would like to land a job in the hair dressing field which is what I recently went to school for, then open a shop of my own. But other than that, not a darn thing would I change.

I can say I had a nice Christmas, but it would have been better if I had won the lotter,,,and got to help some others that are less fortunate than me, that would have been better.

I also am like you, I know somewhere up there, there is someone watching over this mess down here, and someday he/them/ will come rescue us, I however do believe in a supreme being, I believe that story started somehow, and it is the one I choose to believe, becuause it just seems moral and right, he accepts us all, and turns no one away, if you believe, that's it, and try to follow do the best you can in this human life. ...to celebrate the holidays...what do you do?? I haven't really felt any reason to " celebrate " in a very long time. So that makes Christmas just a day like any other to me. Yet, people seem to think there is something " not quite right " about me because I don't have " Holiday Spirit ". I'm not, and never have been, a person that will just go through the motions to keep up appearances. Interesting topic, I guess I feel just as you do, although for some of those reasons, and maybe some others. For me, it's not like it was when I was a child. I learned about the true origins of Christmas and what it has become today. Lo, how I long for simpler times. Now Madison Avenue has thoroughly defiled what was once a festive and innocent holiday. Never mind that Christmas is pagan in origin, and the traditions like the tree, the gifts, Santa, etc. were all folded into the observance of the birth of Christ, by the Holy Church and by commercialized marketing in modern day society. It's all about getting good deals, spending lots of money, and making sure everyone has that "special" gift. No wonder people are so messed up with stress and anxiety this time of year. I will have to say that I totally agree with you on that one, most people are very disallusioned because it's all about keeping up with the Jones and if you can't then your a failure. It's a very hard time of the year, people need to take a step back, and realize that there is so much pain in the world, and Christmas is not all about them. It's hard, I know, but even if you can't do anything at all, then just just "let it be" as the Beatles would say. |
