Hmmmm.

Not sure corn technically counts as a vegetable in the first place. The "seeds" are on the outside, first of all, and the properties of the kernels suggest that it actually ought to be classified with grains or nuts instead...

The way we use it seems to be more in keeping with the "grain" classification...

People seem to be too picky nowadays....They want the perfect mate, but that doesn't exist so they will keep on searchingohwell

It's a shame, really...seems people are willing to invest more time in a stupid video game than they would in getting to know someone in all his or her dimensions.

Remember back in the day, a guy simply asked the girl out, she said yes with no questions asked, they went out, and if it worked it worked, and if not, then that was it.

When did dating become so complicated and come to involve so much work?

What changed?

The world. Technology allows us to stay apart and still maintain the illusion of closeness. People no longer feel a need to stay near each other 'cause well, hey, there's a phone, and a computer, and a plane. We move around too much. Forget who our neighbors were. Go off to college or the service, and never quite make it back "home." Get lost in the fray instead, looking to recapture some part of the closeness of a place that doesn't really exist anymore. Hope to find it somewhere, reflected in the hopeful face of some stranger who isn't really as strange as we think at first. Instead of dancing together, and getting to know one another, we dance separately-- apart-- and hope to run into someone who seems to be doing the same dance. By the time we realize we've been swallowed up by the system-- divided and conquered-- it's too late and nobody who matters can bear to remember anyway. And we wonder why there have been so many high school massacres. We've lost touch with the fundamentals of human nature.

Those gun shots are the ones we hear echoed in Harrison Bergeron...

It has been argued that "love at first sight" is an indication that a person fits your aenima / aenimus archetype particularly well.

For some reason I have only dated morons, women with GEDs and stuff, I don't think I ever dated someone who had a college degree and I have a master's degree. I ponder that sometimes, is it me? Do I not care or do I attract losers?

I've dated women who dropped out of school early and women who had college degrees. The reality is that their education levels rarely, if ever, had anything to do with their intelligence -- at least, not as far as I could tell.

Agreed. Real education comes from life experience. It's nice to have a peice of paper for the purpose of gaining a competitive edge, but that's really and truly about it.

If you knowingly withhold evidence of a crime, if he is caught, then you could be charged also as aiding and abetting, or receiving stolen property(in found in your house). If you own your house...and stolen property is found in your possession...your stand a chance of also loosing your home. These are just some possibilities you could be faced with. Something to think about...hope all works out in your favor.think

I was just going to say the same thing...sorry to be another voice added to the dilemma.

Well, I have a few thoughts to offer. Accept or reject them as you see fit, but please, at least be exposed to what's out there.

1. Bush is the person who started us down the socialist path; I hope Obama will choose to stray away, but this doesn't appear to be consistent with historical patterns.

2. We cannot even blame Bush entirely; this is THE WORST CONGRESS in United States history and our forefathers would be rolling over in their graves if they knew what these people were up to. Ben Franklin, in his speech at the constitutional convention, predicted even then that our system would work until the people became so corrupt as to require a despotic government.

3. Dennis Kucinich, Marcy Kaptur, Ron Paul and Brad Sherman seem to be the only ones who have had both brains and brawn to stand up for what was right. Others in congress began to follow their lead thereafter. Look at what they had to say on the floor of congress.

Everyone thinks they are intelligent.

Ah...so true.

Intellectual compatability is an absolute MUST for me. Mismatches lead to a breakdown in respect, and it's all downhill from there.

I've come to the realization that there is no such thing as truth. Each time we think we have truth, we find out that in fact, it was only theory-- subject to revisions in light of subsequent discoveries. I, therefore, believe that truth is not something which will ever be entirely within our grasp. We are, after all, inescapably biased by our sensory limitations and our view privileged by those moments which interconnect to create perspective.

...ALL women are like that nowadays. Well, I should say all GUYS are like that anyway. 'Having fun' in and out of the bedroom without looking for a serious relationship is pathetic. All it does is cause drama or babies. It's good that you can atleast -admit- you're not looking for a serious relationship instead of leading a girl on like most guys do, but what the hell, respect women a little bit more and take your time with relationships. Don't just have sex with multiple women 'for fun' for your own selfish gain. Ugh.

So totally agree. Pretty educated and reflective statement.

 without a doubt...i have no time for stupid women be seeing you

But yet, you have LOTS of time for some bimbo as long as she's taking her clothes off for you. Go figure.

Well said. Actually, I think many guys eventually become intimidated and frustrated; especially when they can't reason out of their own bs.
