My mother always tells me, one of her friends she grew up with always told her "There are the girls you date, and then there are the girls you marry...and they are two very different people..." I am wondering what all the guys' outlooks on this is? Is it true? If so why...if not why...? I'm not a guy, but I most definitely notice that this is many men's attitude. Its a shame they can't reconcile the Madonna/Whore complex. I think they'd be more satisfied, in general. However, I think I understand why, to their hard-wiring, this is not possible - especially for alpha males - and from a biological viewpoint. Conversely, I have been wondering if alpha females tend to be more territorial or "jealous" (non-accepting of their partner scr3wing around) than other females. I also suspect women might have their own version of what you posited. I believe that for some women, there are some men they will date or cheat on their life partners with - and then there are some men that they will feign loyalty to at all costs. I do not think all women are like this, but I am starting to notice that quite a large proportion are these days.... |

...am I single??? I am such a great catch! Witty, intelligent, articulate, knowledgable...all of those alleged great attributes... Honest, trustworthy.... it's the 'nice' thing, isn't it? 
It's that damned 'nice' thing..... 
So what about handicapped people who have an underdeveloped 'nice' gene? They're people too... Is is possible you are too picky ....and that you tend to pick the wrong ones for you? |
