Just my 2 cents, based on personal experience (your mileage may vary, and no offense intended. This is for information purposes only). The female time-line seems to go like this:

Teens: Society does their best to drive them completely insane, and it usually works. Sexually enthusiastic and ready to experiment, but not much experience. Fun, impressionable, but....crazy. "Beautiful Disaster"

Early 20's: Spend about 4-8 years fixing the insanity. Still lots of fun, not AS crazy, but... seems a little lost, or at least like they are still finding themselves. Sexually speaking, they have experience now and know what they like, but still not confident enough to ask for/demand all of it. Generally seems to want to please more than being pleased.

Late 20's, early 30's: Relatively sane now, not putting up as many fronts/defenses. Easier to know. A little wiser, more confident, more REAL, but you can still see the psycho teenager peeking around the edges from time to time. Usually just enough to be cute. The have decided what they really want out of life, or at least they think so. They don't require a boyfriend with a degree in psychology and a tranquilizer gun.

Sexually speaking, they know what they want, they ask for it, and they know things YOU want but have never heard of (and may even suggest them if the guy is afraid to ask). They are comfortable with their own pleasure, and you actually feel like your having sex WITH them instead of TO them (if that makes sense). Generally there is FAR less drama involved with a physical relationship at this age.

Hows that for an answer? Hah! Like I said your mileage may vary, just trends I have seen, that would explain why men tend to like older women. I really don't think it's about the mommy thing so much as not being crazy, lack of games, and being secure in your sexuality (not just trying it on like a costume the way so many young girls do).

I wouldn't say you deserve it, but you DO set yourself up. Just the parts I quoted there kinda show that. The real question is why?

I can't answer the why, but I can give you some free advice to take or leave:

- Don't run from sweet guys...and don't chase scumbags. This is one of those dumb things ALL women do. It isn't your fault, it has to do with running modern society's values through a brain chemistry that hasn't changed in 40,000 years. The trick is to step back, and see yourself doing it so you can stop.

- Demand respect. You deserve happyness and someone who treats you right, but YOU have to believe that before anyone else will.

- Scumbags can smell vulnerability. It's the only way they can get a woman. So maybe invest a little more time in your friends, get a more stable social base, and they can help you filter the scumbags out. LISTEN TO THEM!

- If you know something is a bad idea, but you're doing it anyway... STOP DOING IT! lol

Yeah, I'm probably the last one who should be giving dating advice. But I've seen some of your posts, and you seem like a nice girl is just a little lost right now. Thats how life goes, sometimes you're up, sometimes you're down, but the wheel keeps moving. So just hang in there and NEVER forget that you deserve to be happy. It will happen.

The ones that make me cringe:

"Princess looking for a Prince(Charming)" Great. Men love trying to live up to impossible ideals. And just so ya know, the princess thing is only cute if you're less than 12 years old. Otherwise it's just creepy.

"Tired of playing games" So, you don't like head-games and emotional abuse? Amazing. Not like a player is gonna tell you up front that he's gonna play ya, or care if you want it or not. Brilliant.

"Where are all the nice guys/Do they exist?" Most of them are still in the 9th grade, wondering why they can't get a date. When will women realize that THEY determine our sexual behavior? If the ONLY way to get sex were to carve out one of your lungs and give it to a girl... there would be a lot of guys running around with one lung. Think about that for a second and you will see where the nice guys went :p
