Nno, no no...no dark places SS...but i hear ya...it is a lot easier to avoid dwelling on stupid chit if you are busy...if you need a pep talk feel free to message me....I've gotten really good at avoiding those dark places.

HI Ruth, I'm sorry for your loss. ..I never actually spoke with him but his was one of the first profiles I read when I came online here, just from that, I thought what an interesting man....I was so touched I e-mailed him to say a hello and you know, just to reach out.....I never did get a response.

Been there done that...they are precious little ones...I have rescued more than my share...these are all fixed now I presume? Sorry its the crazy cat lady in me...we must all work to get and keep the population down, to reduce the suffering.

kind gestures toward me are always appreciated...as long as it is not on my dime...(there is a story that goes with that)
But I tell ya what...When I see a man show/showing genuine kindness, respect, appreciation, interest in strangers, THAT is a total turn on....If you have given me flowers and/or held open a door for me etc.....but can't seem to show that same love and respect for strangers...well that speaks more to me then those flowers in hand. I'm just saying.

thinking how truly blessed I am..grandkids every weekend, cousins together making memories at grandma's house. Granted it makes it hard for me to have much of a life apart from that but listening to their laughter in my backyard...makes it all worth it...I also know there are very many people who would sacrifice much in their own lives to have what I have.

Thinking sorry to hear...Thinking, letting go is the hardest part of a breakup with a lover, friend, relative.....sometimes doesn't happen for years...so it's a new beginning.

Nope, not yet....the day is running out...might thave to wait for the weekend when I see the grands.

I don't know maybe I missed something here. But the way I see it..it's not a matter of changing someone or changing the world..it's about making a difference in someone's life in some small way, not on a grand scale.

Maybe you offer to babysit for free for a young couple or single parent you are close with once in awhile so they can have a date night.

or in your neighborhood...join the neighborhood assc. and see what can be done to help get property values up, help paint over some graffiti, or help clear debris from a local creek, or

at a local school...read out loud to a classroom so maybe a teacher can get some of the never ending tasks done...or offer to be a guest speaker and share some knowledge or some aspect of your life story....as it may relate to their current lesson

The possiblities are limited only by our imagination, so go ahead, drop the coin in the water and know there will be a ripple affect. Paying it forward. I'm just saying.
