This is possibly due tothe fact that it shares sounds with words such as sepulchre, repulsive, cretin, lewd, and pus. It's a good word to use when you'd like someone to *think* you're insulting them. Growing up I have traveled all over this great state of ours. I actually do not like the extreme heat but I love that if you don't like the weather, just wait like 5 minutes and it changes
