Is it too much to ask for a current picture of someone your chatting with? I like seeing a gal in a more relax kind of garment every once in a while. I think they look absolutely gorgeous. They obviously don't think they look or feel beautiful. Whether that is some big easy fitting hooded (or regular) sweatshirt, or a t-shirt barely tucked in or maybe a nice silky looking baggy blouse.

I for one get tired of snug fitted heavy clothing all the time. Have to do to the work environment. Granted it's not fashionably in style. But then again I don't give a hoot what is fashionable. I wear what I want to wear. Not what the fashion police say I should or must wear.

I asked that with two women I am (or should I say was)chatting with via text & email. "Oh, I can't do that". Why not? It makes me feel that the woman I'm chatting with isn't who she says she is. I like seeing photos of the person I am talking with, someone whom I am going to meet up with someday soon as it add validity. I would like to know what she looks like. I sent pictures of myself, doing various activities. Why can't she send me pictures of herself? Inside or out doing things. Why is this a one way street? I'm honest about myself, revealing my identity in photos. Why can't she do the same?

When you sent pictures of yourself "doing various activities", did you send them because the ladies asked or did you send them in the hopes they would follow your lead?...You sound as if your are not willing to meet someone until or unless you can confirm they look and act a certain way....This is cyber, no guarantees, no warranties....They only way your are really going to know is to get out from behind that screen and meet the people you are corresponding with....Then, if you don't like the cloths they are wearing, slaphead just cross them off your list and look for someone wearing bib overalls next time...

The two women asked me for the photos, and lots of photos - often. I told these two women I would like to see a photo of them once in a while too. And that's when they said that cannot do that. One gal did finally send me a photo, but she's in a very low cut top with a super short skirt.

Well if that's the case, I can see how you might be a little agitated ....Still, why don't you just set up a meet and satisfy your curiosity that way?...

Would be nice, but both of them live outside the USA.

Anyone else having problems with the phone locking up?

Or having problems with disconnecting from a Blue Tooth device?

Lastly, the phone battery seems to drain quickly even with an overnight charge to where the light goes from red to green. Now, I bought a new phone battery after the sales associate told me mine has a slight bulge. But after having the phone shut off after depleting the charge, the phone has been holding for quite a long time. However, here recently the phone has been doing it again. I thought lithium ion batteries don't have a memory affect like nickel cadmium or nickel/metal hydride batteries.

Lock-ups haven't been occurring as often as they use to. However, when I go to use the voice recorder, it won't record unless I shut off and reboot the phone.

I received a message last year from a "former" coworker's wife. She sent "The Deceived and Deceiver Are His".

What is that suppose to mean?

Does she claim I'm a deceiver?

Not everyone is a perfect Christian. Most have bumps in the path of their life. Some may get quite off the beaten path before seeing the light. Living is learning.

She sounds like a twat, I wouldn't worry about it.

She claims she's a hard core Christian, fully devoted to the Lord.

Many lare comapnies have gone paperless on payroll. I retired from a convenience store chain. We went ompletely paperless and thoe employees without bnk accounts got a pre-paid MC. There pay was added to the card weekly. We didn't get W2 at teh end of year either. Most tax preparers are able to access the on-lin stub with info you provide and if you are a do it your selfer Tubo Tax, for one, also has the ability to download you info into the program.'

Now as to internet service. Strange as it may seem the US is way down the list on availability. The slower speed has some problems just like your dial-up. Many companies write web pages that use particular characteristics of a certain browser. Since they are free it is no big deal to load the one you need for payroll nd only use it for that. I use SlimBrowser and have for over 10 years. It is easy to use, blocks pop-ups and is secure. It uses IE as an engine but is slimmer and faster. It also flies under the hacker radar.

Satelite presents another problem called latency. Skype or any VOIP (voice over internet protocol). there is a noticeable delay in he trip up and back down that causes echoes and over speaking. You revert to saying "Over" like back in WWII movies. "Did you get that tank, Over?" "Yes we did over". Annoying. Wireless an be affected by weather just like cell phones but usually not as bad. It is line of site though. Check out the company and talk to current users.

Hope all this babble helped.

Yes it did. Thanks :)

I have talk to my supervisor and he recommended on using the public library PC to get registered. The registration process uses an application, which requires a PC with a fast Internet connection to load up. I was told by another coworker that once I'm registered that I may be able to view my payroll stubs and W2 forms online on my PC.

I have done that and I can now view my payroll stubs. However, I didn't get my email & cellphone activated for updates. There I'll have to go back to the library and get those activated.

Wireless from what I've been told will be faster than dial-up and is much better than satellite Internet. Satellite Internet will be just like Satellite TV (which I have), weather will affect it allot. Strong SW to NW winds blow the trees in the way and there is nothing I cannot do about it as those trees are on the neighbors property. The only other expensive option would be to buy a TV Tower (if they still make them) and mount the Sat dish 30-40 feet off the ground. The only issue with that idea, heavy wet snow collecting on the dish - who is going to clean off the dish?? NOT ME!!

Are they refusing to post a picture of themselves, or refusing to take a picture of themselves wearing the clothing you described that you prefer?

Refusing to take any photo of themselves sitting or doing something. I'm not asking allot of pics, just one every once in a while. I don't send lots of pics of myself either.

I re- read my post after they have been posted and find typos. I notice I have issues with not holding down the shift button long enough for capital letters where needed. Or a mistakenly cram two words together.

I don't know about being scary, but seeing a bee in flight with absolutely no sound to it whatsoever. It then flies into the wall with no hole for it to fly into.

Recent one was looking at the TV I use for the outdoor camera (observation cam). It was the break of dawn. The TV looked like it was covered in thin foam. I got up to see what was stuck on the tube and it disappears right before my own eyes as I can then see the driveway and the street in full details.

Last year I had issues with a touch lamp. Regardless to where it would be plugged into, it would continuously cycle through the settings on it's own and at certain times of the day. I tried tracking down what might be causing it to cycle, like a motor turning on, RFI, etc. No luck.

Then there was the ball of light that pass right through the back door - also last year.

This year, other than the bee and the TV, it has been tranquil. Seems that purchasing a digital recorder and a night vision high def (1080p) DV cam that I haven't been seeing this stuff happening as often.

Our company has gone paperless with the pay stubs. Now I will not know how much money goes to what. I tried logging onto this new web site, it takes forever to load and then after 55 minutes it shows "session timed out". I got dial-up connection, that may be the reason for the problems. Though I read on the web site that I may have to use the same web browser as what my company uses to access this new system.

I have limited options out here in the sticks. Either satellite Internet or wireless Internet. The wireless Internet I think I can afford at $39.95 for 768k/384k . Though for $60 I could have 3.0M/768k. The cheaper should be better then dial-up which typically averages about 48 Kbps.

On top of that I heard on the local news that phone companies would like to drop land line service all together as most have some kind of a cellphone. Apparently land line has a high upkeep, which seems quite obvious. But there too living out in the sticks, cellphone service is still somewhat spotty often in bad weather. Especially when the cell tower doesn't have an automatic back-up generator when the power goes out.

I would like to report them, but all five have quickly deactivated their profile shortly after sending me PM's.

I have chit-chatted with five women now this month whom all claim they are from Michigan, only to find out later on that they never been to or only briefly visited the town/city they got their profile listed as. Out of those five, three seem to be from Africa, one in England and the other I assume is from Germany. All of these women have absolutely terrible typing skills compared to most of the women I work with at work. I'm not talking about text message short-case abbreviations, I know what that looks like. This is just ridiculous typing - period.

Every one of these gals (if that is who they really are) type like this: "Well am good, just work". or "am good, how you, nice hear you" . Who types like that?

And the photos I get via email or through messenger. Most seem to be from the same place. And neither one can give me a fresh new photo to show the actual current weather conditions or famous landmarks. Like that one gal whom claims she is in Paris. It was a live chat via her smart phone. So I mention to her to take a photo of the Eiffel Tower in the background showing the sunny skies. I got some wild idea she wasn't allowed to do that do to restrictions of taking photos of famous places like that without permission. REALLY? Since when? I think she didn't want to reveal exactly where she is at.

If I recall, Dateline NBC had something about some coffee shop in South Africa where men pose as women on these online dating sites. It was some news outlet that had this. Could have been 20/20. I do recall something of the sort on TV.

I thought today was suppose to be mild with temps in the upper 50's, sunny and breezy. Looks more like overcast/rainy skies, quite windy at times (no sense in raking leaves) and temps barely breaking the 50*F mark.

Yesterday was gorgeous. Snow for next work week. sad
