What I'd like to say I'd do is kick him to the curb, and don't give him the benefit of your friendship. But I know that's not the easy thing to do when you have feelings for someone. Really think about what is best for YOU...in my opinion I think you should back off and let him go, he'll only hurt you. Even if he changes his mind, what happens the next time a girl comes around...

Thanks for all the replies, they're very helpful and appreciated. Although majority rules that it's a booty call (bummer! lol), I am going to go with the flow. I myself am not actually ready for anything too serious at the moment, so the casualness of it was working for me, but I did have hopes that there would be a future. My daughter has never met him and never will unless we are "official" and I think the time is right. But anyway - in the end I know he is the one missing out and it just wasn't right, and theres better men out there for me! As long as I can get my feelings under control, the "booty call" thing is working pretty well on my behalf too ; ) haha

Well I was trying to have high hopes..lol. I know when I had first started working there he wanted to ask me out(unaware of my daughter at this point) but I was dating someone. So now 2 years later, we're both single and finally hanging out, so I just thought maybe he realized he was being stupid and wanted to try it out. But ... probably just a booty call, grrr !

Alright, so here's the situation...

I'm a single mother. Last month I started hanging out with a guy I work with. We get along great and I was definately under the impression that he was interested in me. So I asked him, he said he was interested...but could not handle the responsibility of a child. Alright, so I took that as RED LIGHT this is going nowhere. Since that conversation we have hung out twice and went past the lines of friendship if ya know what I mean. Which I'm not stupid - I know that doesn't mean anything. But, when we're together he seems so into me. Basically what I want to know, do you think it's possible this guy may be changing his mind? Or am I a victim of a booty call? lol
