Thank you, yeah, I just was wondering how others would handle such a dilemma.

Superbly intelligent answer.
I'd overlooked the demographic factor. Thanks so much for the advice. |

So... okay, I need to preface this by saying that I know not everyone is okay with someone like me.
But all I ask is please, no hatred? Okay, so... I'm trans. As dumb as it feels to do so, I always put a little disclaimer on my profile photo explaining such. I do this, a, because I want to know that if someone was interested, it was genuine, with them knowing from the start what I am. b, hopefully that can dispel the false stigma that all trans people are out to deceive. Now. Here is my question. How do I go about double checking if a messager saw the disclaimer, without inviting too much hatred? It isn't that I've had terrible experiences. In fact, I have to say, when someone uninterested finds out, they either just stop talking... or, I've even had them say, yeah, not what they want, but that they wish me luck. I've been just saying, "Hey, before we message any further, did ya read my little disclaimer?" It's so nerve racking, afraid someone is gonna be mean. Another subject for another time, the ones who keep talking then seem to go into perverted questions ![]() And there I am, trying to ask about their interests and stuff. But of course, the biological girls tell me that they go through that as well. Oh, and before anyone points out that there are sites more aimed at people like me... true. But the men on those are often even pervier than on here ![]() Thanks for listening. Well... reading. ~ Melissa |
