Sawyer and kate should have sex in graphic detail. I may die happy then. Didn't they already? They had sex. Just not in graphic detail. A girl can dream! |

The thing that disturbs me the most about the entire thing, both on here, and in the media, is that everyone is very quick to jump all over her for being a bad mother (we're not disputing what she's done), and then point and laugh because she's Britney Spears. The press got their money shoving her up on a pedestal and now they are doing the same throwing her off.
For God's sakes, the woman needs help! It's pretty damn clear she's going through a **** load of psychological problems. Are her kids suffering? Yes. Should she currently have responsibility over them? No. But she IS still a person, and she doesn't deserve to be ridiculed. I assume nobody pointing fingers has ever come anywhere near a mental breakdown? </end rant> |

Perhaps consider that maybe he is naturally introverted. Maybe he likes spending time or alone, or maybe he simply isn't interested in the people of his own age he has already met. If he's happy then that's the main thing, and that's something only he can suss out.
As others have said, just be there for him. Your concern over the virginity worries me the most, to be frank. It's not unusual to be a virgin at twenty, and he certainly doesn't need to feel he's a freak for being one. Just let him find his own path. He invariably will. |

As Poly said, your endorphins kick in quickly enough. I think part of the worry is over the art itself, both the expectation, and the possibility of disappointment. It gets transfered to the worry about the pain because you can measure that. :)
Tips: Eat before hand. You need the energy and your blood sugar needs to be stable. Take a sugary drink in with you. Sports iso drink or similar. Sip if you need to, during the tatt, but definitely after. You may be a little shaken. Other than that, enjoy it! I want to see pics when it's done. :) |

Love? when is it real?

I think you'll just know when it is. It will hit you, probably when you least expect it. Maybe they'll wake up one morning, their hair a mess, their eyes crusted with sleep, and you'll just look at them and think 'I love you'.
If you have to ask, in my opinion, then it isn't love. |

Totally agree - you're very cute. Anyone worth their salt won't care about the chair. :)

Buying A Mac

Thank you to everyone, you've all been most helpful!
resserts in particular - I am so appreciative of your post - that makes things a million times easier. I'm suspecting I only need the Macbook (my primary use is word processing and surfing, although I seem to spend around 10+ hours a day on the computer, if that should make any difference). I do a fair bit of graphics-based design, just for fun, but it's not 3d. I rarely play games on my laptop. I suppose my main reasons for considering a pro are these: 1)The casing seems as if it would wear better. 2)I always seem to have issues with speed with my laptops, within about a year. I always put this down to the zillion windows I have open at once, but perhaps it's simply because it IS Windows, and even the OS takes up a load of space. So I figured the more speed to begin with, the better it would wear over the years. 3) I like the backlight. Christ, I'm such a girl. Am I just being ridiculous? Will the difference between 2.16 GHZ and 2.4 be really noticeable? And is Applecare really worth while? |

Chrish -
Ah, so we're talking Crowley? It's an interesting subject, occultism. Have you read any LaVey? I found his essay books ('Devil's Notebook' etc) particularly good. Yes, that's the very same Battle Royale. I'm a fan of Japanese horror. The book is much better. More British people should post! Where's your National pride, people? |

Buying A Mac

Hey guys,
So my barely-a-year-old Sony Vaio is going up **** creek without a paddle. It sucks. Vista sucks. I want a Mac. A shiny, pretty, sparkly new Mac. Has to be a laptop. So a couple of questions to all your Mac boys out there: To Pro or not to Pro? Wait on the rumours of new models, or not? And finally, am I correct in saying you need an external hd to be able to make use of Time Machine in OSX? Thanks all! xoxox |

Hey Chrish.
Magick with a k? Is this a special form? A reference to good old Terry, perhaps? No, I meant magic with a g. The kind that can be found anywhere, and not just written in books about goblins and druids. :) And no, I don't mean David Blaine either. :P Horror? Anything, really. Whatever I can get my hands on. Last horror I read was Battle Royale the novel. Damn good book! So are we all the only British people in here? Oh, and ta for the welcome justfunuk! |
