Here is the consensus opinon amongst scientists. A detailed policy discussion is welcome.
http://royalsociety.org/displaypagedoc.asp?id=13619 http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v449/n7164/full/449755a.html http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v315/n6014/abs/315045a0.html I reassert my statement that 99.99% of research publications(in peer reviewed journals, unlike pamphlets and other ideology based publications lke AEI) don't even dispute the man made effect on global warming. When the two biggest science journals(Nature and Science) have come out so strongly and unequivocally in one direction, one wonders whether the arguments to the contrary have even some shred of scientific credulity. |

Sorry to burst your bubble, but he is not suing.
http://www.glennbeck.com/content/articles/article/196/6794/?ck=1 By the way, I would take the word of 99.9% of scientists over a weatherman any day(Nature and Science both had cover stories and Nature had a review paper where 99.99% of scientists, judging by research publications, were of the view that man made activities were causing a rise in temperature). Make up your mind. You dislke the idea of global warming, or you dislke the proponents of it. A fact is a fact, sans prejudice:) |

He hasn't join Obama's supporters/efforts. It is a separate and noble cause. The headline is misleading(The Hill with lead writer **** Morris sometimes lends itself to such news).
There hasn't been an official endorsement and judging from what is in the news , it is unlikely to come soon. |
