I am having the same problem, cannot send or respond to messages even with people I have conversed with in the past or edit profile, send nudges, nothing. Sending e-mails to help has proven fruitless. Seem to be MIA. You have it right, cannot mingle if you can't message. Charles or whoever is in control, pony up boys!
