I think that you seem a little uptight on that profile pic. In my perspective I wouldnt give the following a second look and this is JUST ME...

1.PICTURE (PROFILE) has be someone that is smiling..(enjoys to be alive)
2.Pictures need to have a shirt one (Most)
3.You really didnt write anything about ANYTHING really. (I actually READ all profiles that send me a message).
4.I also look at the username (Sorry for me some are just a NO NO)
5.I WILL ABSOLUTELY not message anyone with the following pictures in their profile....Weapons...DRUGS..Being in the shower, Holding himself. ANY RUDE, DEMEANING OR SEXUAL INNUENDOS.

Those like I said is JUST HOW I LOOK at ALL ...Hopefully you can better understand a female perspective..at least my POV. :)

Oh I almost forgot: People have lives give them a little time to respond. If no response after maybe 1 or 2 weeks then just forget that person and just keep searching. Maybe closer to you would be the better fit because you want an activity partner.
