I think it's an outdated tradition. When I really like a woman, I will bend over backward and do back flips for her. If I just want to get to know her, I prefer to meet somewhere in between. Maybe I pay the tab, but we take seperate cars. Or maybe we split the tab, and I insist on paying most of it. It depends on the woman and her own views. Couldn't have said it better myself. I've been there,man.
Nearly 7 years, I supported her in school for 4 for her College. We lived 2gether 4 1 1/2 years. After she graduated she confessed to cheating during her exams,blamed it on "stress" We loved each other, and we were engaged. Let this be a warning to you. Freedom and alcohol are a bad mix. Stress and booze can cause bad judgement. Suffice to say, we are seperated now. There are no words for how I feel about it. But, trust me, you don't want to be where I was 4 months ago... |
