America needs to be apologized for, especially the terror from the Bush administration. Have you seriously actually ever compared him to the man we currently have? GW was a saint. saint is NOT the word i would use... at least he had some balls, unlike our current failure... two failures in a row is not good... Bush may not have been the greatest, but I wouldn't call him a failure by any stretch. That's just how the media portrayed him, and everyone bought it. I defy anyone to come up with things Bush did wrong. open his mouth,,,,many times,,, I'm sorry, was there a point there? If you think he talked a lot, what about the current blabber mouth? it wasnt how much he talked, its what came out when he did refer to the PAGES of bushisms all over the net,,, So your reasoning is because he's misused words? Or because he's made some mistakes speaking? Guess what; it happens. How about Obama, who uses the word um about a million times every unscripted interview or speech. |

I defy anyone to come up with things Bush did wrong. Going to Iraq to kill bin laden for 9/11 was the most prominent. Being diplomatically illiterate along with his regular illiteracy. Making America a torture tyrant. Helping the slide in our economy to slide a little faster but not for the rich folks. Now I agreed with him about what to do with illegal immigration. And a couple of other things. For the most part though he was a disgrace to this country. What we have now is in comparison to Bush is a great leader. Ok, fail. He went to Iraq for entirely different reasons, it had nothing to do with Bin Laden himself. Are you saying we should've left Hussein in power? He's not illiterate, and I'll need examples of how he's illiterate when it comes to diplomacy. I don't even know what a torture tyrant is. And again, examples will be needed. Doesn't it bother you being a pawn of those who use the socio-economic divide to further their agenda's? Stop hating people purely for being successful. BTW, look at the GDP and unemployment under Bush compared to under Obama. Of course you'd agree with him about immigration, one of the few areas I disagree with him about. Show us why Obama is a great leader. Because I can give a dozen reasons to the contrary. |

Now when I say point out anything he's done wrong, of course I know he's made his mistakes. I thought the bailouts were a bad idea, I don't care for his stance on immigration, and he never communicated well enough about the war. I just want others to give actually concrete reasons why they look down on Bush. |

Well it's not Mallet for obvious reasons. and those reasons would be? He throws interceptions at pivotal times in games. the thing is,look at the defenses Ark has had to face this year and the only reason he's not closer to 4,000 years is because of him getting injured in the only 2 games Ark lost (that Auburn game was due to a horse caller that was never called! ) He's lucky he doesn't play in another conference, specifically the one up north he used to play in. Defenses are even better. And in the NFL better still. He's just not a great decision maker. |

We did what we had to do. We won, it's over. Is it really over?? Has it ever really been over?? When Yankees come into the south r they welcomed with open arms and visa versa?......And no it wasn't about slavery....because the South definitely doesn't give a rats as s about the slavery thing......really raping and murdering women and children is what the North had to do? Why don't you retry your answer on that one....... Really? I'd love to know what text book you've been reading from. If you don't think it was about slavery, I severely question your education. Um yeah....they cared about slavery, being that that was what their economy was predicated on. We don't commonly refer to ourselves as Yankees, that's a baseball team. We welcome all people, because we did this little thing in the last 150+ years called move on. It was about the federal government and and states rights not in particular about slavery.....there was more to it than that which why I put it wasn't about slavery.....slavery was an issue but everyone makes it to be about slavery in particular and miss all the reasons the states succeeded....just because historians write it that way doesn't make it completely the gods honest true ....... did they really because I was going on how people treated me moving from one place to another and having to break in to different areas....... Blah, blah, blah, that's just the way the South wants to color it. What issue brought about the entire states rights discussion in the first place? Oh yeah, slavery. If it wasn't for the two sides vehemently disagreeing on this issue, the war would never have taken place. I really wonder if you've ever even lived up here, and where. Because honestly, not too many really even give a shite about the war. They probably just considered you uneducated. |

Not to condone what they do in the Middle East, but I'm sure they have a lot less crime than we do. Our country can be too lax in some areas. I'll tell you this, you walk a fine line between mercy and justice. Some don't deserve the former, but everyone deserves the latter.

Why don't you retry your answer on that one....... considering the times, and being honest about war raping women and children was prevalent in the south already, and most likely the north was not immune as far as history is concerned, confederates declared the war by firing on federal territory,, cant cry later because they lost,,, That wasn't the point...the point was that what they did was not necessary......he said it was necessary.....and the the Yankees and the Rebels still have conflict with each other today....it wasn't about who won or lost it wasn't about who started it or lost it it was pure unadluterated honesty......that the South still proclaims damned Yankees....and the North still isn't so hot about those damned Rebels......point being it never really ended and went forth through prejudices........politely but out MsHarmony.....love ya though and your opinion...this ones between me and that boy......and if Lincoln hadn't received the financing he did when he did things just might be alittle different......and no I do not wish slavery upon anyone in any shape or form....not my meaning and not to be misconstrued LOL that boy. Listen, and listen good; it doesn't matter about financing, or anything else, we'd have still kicked your ***. And as a great times like 5 grandson of a man who helped burn down Atlanta in the war, I say too bad. Nobody up here talks like this. We don't use the word rebel, we're just sick and tired of all your bullshot. Best believe. |

Run your justice system that way, and see what happens. Tell ya what, next guy that beats and robs you, we'll apply that logic to. a strictly merciful justice system only works within a strictly merciful social system in lieu of that, justice tempered with mercy is the most fruitful approach You really say a lot of nothing. I really want you to prove your point. As it stands, I see nothing. |
